Anyone running a 27" monitor?

I just got a HY 27" I did not realize how big it is.

Love it but my head feels like it's going to explode.

I don't know if I could reduce to 27s, they would seem too small after my 30s

Dual 30'' here. My kids' mom has two 27'' in her office. They're gorgeous HP IPS monitors, that cost under $300 each.

upgraded from a 24" Samsung to a ASUS 27" recently, I am still getting use to it. Playing games is much better and when you are working you can get more done. Need to upgrade again soon.....

Anyone have a 40"+

I use a 27" Samsung and a 30" Dell. I have noticed that the 27" is way behind the 30" Dell when I inspect print work for my mainstream businesses, so I am going to replace it after this summer with a DELL UP3214Q ULTRASHARP 31,5" IGZO-panel with 99% AdobeRGB and 100% sRGB or something better.

What I noticed when switching to larger screens is that your eyes can get tired after excessive use, resulting in headaches and mental fatigue. I have remedied this buy using Gunnar glasses when I sit by the computer more than 8 hours a day. I also try to take a break every 2-3 hours to stretch my legs and look at objects at a distance so that the eyes get some variation.

I have a Samsung that size. The transition from smaller to big comes with an impact but you will get used to it very soon.

When buying 27 inch, make sure that it has the 2560x1440 resolution. I made the mistake once of buying a 27 inch that did not have a resolution any better than my 25 inch.

I am running this as my primary: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have 3 70" smart TVs across my wall in my field of vision. I use these for multiple purposes.

I am pretty sure I had a 27 inch monitor in 2005.

It was between a 24 and 27, at first I thought it was too big but you get used to it.

Yeah I run it about the same as a 24 but the extra size makes it east to read. It's extended to my laptop so my next laptop will have 2560x1440 sure shizzle.

Really starting to love this 27" HP xi

I've been considering an upgrade to the Mac Pro with dual 28" 4k's but am still undecided. Can you tell me what you do in your daily computer work and how the 4k benefits you? Video editing in 4k aside that is...

Thanks!

Pics please. I always wanted to do this in my basement to do a race cockpit setup for pc gaming, but common sense got the better of me. Only thing with tvs you are probably only getting 1920 x 1080. My eyes are bad enough that I probably wouldn't want to run any higher res anyway. Dam text is too small as it is at 1080p.

Should be about 2 feet away from your eyes. Mine looks like it about 3 feet away.

Got 'talked into" springing for a 27" over a 21" last year and would never go back now. It did seem stupidly big at first!

The problem is that I'm sitting close to the monitor (60cm or so), so 27" would be way to big
