It's been his turn to be president for the last three election cycles, and goddammit Mitt's going to have it because it's his birthright. If republicans are dumb enough to put him up as their candidate again, then they deserve to lose. They can't be that dumb, can they?
I think if Hillary runs, she'll lose to whoever happens to be the Conservative candidate -- especially if it's Rand Paul. He could split Hillary's vote. The bottom line is, whenever it's someone's "turn" to be president, someone else always rises up from the ranks and knocks them out of the running. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama...no one knew who the fuck they were.

I don't totally hate Mitt Romney. He seems like a reasonable guy compared to some of the nuts in the Republican party.

I think the entire way Romney operated was shady. I do wonder how he would handle Obamacare if he became President. No matter what, it's going to be a fun ride in 2016.

You guys realize that he is a pornographer right? How much money did Marriot make from selling porn to their guests? The media mostly ignores this. Why? Because Mitt is just another soulless errand boy for the financiers just like Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc
Yes Mitt was named after the founder of the Marriot corp and he served on the board for many years. Fuck Mitt Romney and fuck every other puppet that is allowed to participate in the presidential debates. The real candidates will be ignored as always. |

Remember in 2008, when Hillary was the "annointed one" and everybody thought for sure she was going to be the next President. Then Obama came out of nowhere. And Bill got pissed and the Clintons and Obama's went to war in the primary. 2016 it looks like Hillary is a lock to win the Presidency again. Wouldn't it be funny if Michelle Obama ran? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() She would instantly get all the liberal, women, and black vote and Hillary would be fuming mad. ![]() I know that's not gonna happen...it just struck me last night that Michelle Obama could be President if she wanted to in 2016. Looks like Mitt is going for the trifecta. He wants to get his ass kicked for a third time. In the 2008 primary a senile old fool kicks hiss ass, he loses to a black socialist in 2012 and in 2016 he will lose to a skirt.

He always reminded me of a car salesmen or a stereotypical greasy politician. He just has that greasy look to him that he would literately steal candy from a baby. With that said, I like Hillary even less as a candidate. However I still would not vote for Romney over her, because Romney comes with the Right wing agenda and at least Hillary comes with Bill in the background..

I actually hope a republican wins next time just so I can see how the liberal media acts. They've been so used to calling the republicans cry babies since Obama first got in it will be interesting to see what happens when the shoe is on the other foot.

Romney would have to get a lot more aggressive than he was against Obama to win against Hillary. I'm more concerned about the republicans taking the senate. I would prefer a balance. If we had a GOP controlled senate and house, we would be better off with a democrat as a president.
Having it all to one party has proven to be a nightmare as shown with the last two presidents.

I don't follow politics on a day to day basis, so some little known Senator or Congressman doesn't really get much attention from me unless they are in the news a lot or running for President.

The Clinton campaign totally ignored all caucus primaries. Obama and his campaign saw that this was their path to get noticed and create legitimacy. They put everything in the ground game and communications in those caucus primaries. It allowed them to win these easily, and collect the delegates to raise the profile and legitimacy of his campaign. These caucus states also came early before a lot of the larger primaries in the country. By the time Clinton and her campaign realized they were being triangulated, it was far to late to stop it. You can't just spring up a ground game in caucus states.

As things turned out that early momentum never waned and when they combined that with his ability to give great speeches as well as the campaign's ability to engage younger voters it was like the stars just aligned for him and everything went right. |

It really was an incredible strategy. Caught the Clinton campaign completely flat footed. Put them in such a whole delegate wise, that even huge states like California and NY couldn't close the distance.

All that the ass-close Romney needs to do is not be such an ass-clown liar. Here is the exact moment that Romney lost: Had Romney actually paid attention to events he wouldn't have looked like such a fool. I especially LOVE the face that Romney makes exactly 1:42. Which a disrepectful and stupid some of a bitch. But right after that, Obama nails him. With total class and with complete ease, Obama's "Please proceed governor" is a kick so full in the balls to Romney, it had me on the floor in pain.

Bill Clinton was a good president because he worked with the other side and got shit done. The people are looking at Hillary and hoping for the same result.

The Republican party that Bill Clinton worked with was a vastly different animal than that which Obama was (and is) confronted with. How's Hillary going to do any better when half of today's Republicans think she murdered Vince Foster?

They are just different beasts. The republicans when Clinton was in office hated him, but they still wanted to get things done and show the people that they could lead and be productive. The current republicans seem only interested in being against anything Obama wants. In order to work with someone they have to be willing to work with you and I'm not sure the current crop of republicans will work with any democratic president. Maybe I am wrong though. I guess we will have to see. |

If you owned a large company and the CEO was complaining that the VP's we not doing what he told them to do, all 20 of them lets say, do you really think it's the VP's fault, or would you replace the CEO and find someone that can handle the job. I say this because it's his job to get things done, what ever the reason, it's not getting done. Right now he is bypassing anything he wants to pass by executive order and congress is not getting a vote. Congress are the representatives of the people and Obama is not the king!

It seems like in the past there were always some people on the opposing side that were willing to work with the other party. For example, Newt worked with Clinton. Right now it seems like there are none of those people and we are starting to see that if you do work with the president you get primaried. Ask Cantor how well agree with the president on the need for immigration reformed worked out for him. |

Both parties have their leadership. Sure, the president is the CEO of the country and it is his job to lead the way, but at some point the opposition leadership should be responsible enough to say, "We can work with them on this or that and still help the country even if we aren't in power right now." Instead the republicans have simply taken their ball and gone home then bitched when the game goes on without them. |

Congress has about a 10% approval rating. It isn't like the people are out there saying, "That congress is just doing everything they can to help the country, but that bastard Obama is stopping them at ever turn." The people know the congress is filled with assholes and I don't think their feelings are getting hurt too bad nor or they shocked when the president reminds them that their elected officials are refusing to work with him. |
