Where do you host promo video embeds?

Is there a particular tube site (or sites) which is good to use or is it best to self-host?

I want something which will be easy for a solo model to upload trailers to and then embed them on her blog.

Nowadays, with sites changing policy left right and centre and with bandwidth being SO cheap, I think you'd be an idiot not to host them yourself.

Negotiate with your host and if they wont move on price shop around for a new host. Most people happy with their hosts are happy paying too much.

The model just makes the occasional trailer. She's really just getting into doing videos and I mostly am a photography person.

I'm not concerned about the bandwidth. Not sure it is worth the bother of setting up a tube for one person to do embeds from and possibly password the occasional individual video like on YouTube or Vimeo.

I believe Mech Bunny is the way to go for a tube and spending the dev time plus a grand for a type of traffic site that is outside my general bailiwick . . . it seems possibly unnecessary and not a great ROI.

What about a separate WordPress install, have her upload the video through the browser-based editor, then grab the resulting URL code and post wherever she needs.

Thanks, Sly! I've tried other plug-ins which were cumbersome, but that one looks nice. I've already got the girl set up on WordPress, so adding this might be the best solution. Not sure why she wants to password some, but I can just have her password specific WordPress posts and done :-)
