yeah, it's pretty bad form mate. I can see now it was done as a huge compliment to the affiliate, but I'd echo what george said, and ask for it to be deleted. It's 99% probable the affiliate won't be too pleased if he knew, to put it mildly. Live and learn, and all that

Rochard, you have access to sales stats. One person is doing well. You then post saying "copy this and you could do as well" (essentially).

I'd email Eric and ask him to remove the thread asap before your whale pulls his links and pushes to your competition.

Rochard, I totally see and know you well enough to know that there wasn't an ounce of ill intent here, and back in OUR day, most affiliates took this as a serious compliment - but these days, it's almost like asking someone how much money they make or some other very personal question - I am old school too and didn't think it was so bad, and I used to do this same thing a lot - but times and people are so much different now.. sad but true.
