Having to charge a higher price because of import duty, exchange rate etc, is not exactly a declaration of premium.

look for beers from small breweries...a lot of them are in Poland, Czech and Germany....

but I doubt that you will find any of them in USA....
forget about Heineken and other "big breveries" shit.

look for unpasteurized and unfiltered beer with real hops.... not some shitty chemicals - but once again - I doubt if you will find any of them in US...

Guinness is lovely, but stupidly expensive in Spain.

For summer drinking I like the Belgian Cherry beers, or for mass consumption, San Miguel (cheaper than water).

I like the Cherry Beers as well and live on San Miguel when I am in Spain - It really is often cheaper than water...

I find Stella gives me a headache - Becks is better and there is a Polish beer that has started getting popular here that is great no hangover at all - Can't remember the name though.....

Stella Artois is the commercial Belgian beer, but still beats any American beer. That being said, I can't remember how many different Belgian beers we had while up there, but Stella wasn't on the top of the "best" list, so if you want some really good Belgian beer, keep looking.

We luckily (and apparently illegally since it's not supposed to be resold) got our hands on a few bottles of Westvleteren, and I must say, it's exclusivity matches it's quality and taste. It's not going to be for everyone, but for me -- not being a beer guy -- it was really, really good.

yeah, it's german

i like it but whenever i had it in the US, it tasted quite differently than the german version - and not exactly better

in Vegas I had a beer that actually came quite close to what I prefer:

Generally no, coors, bud, miller, stella, dos equis all provide me a similar buzz.

The one that does hit me differentky is pabst blue ribbon, im a happy drunk but after 6 + pbr im having an absolute blast!

The nicer beers hit nice but a heavier buzz to me, I'm not jumping off the couch when my team scores with nice beers.

The shitty malt liquors provide a good beer buzz too. 40 oz of st. Ides = buzzy

And i also prefer the shitty beers for breakfast beer buzz early in the morning.

Stella is my go-to for mass-produced beers. Blonde, crisp, nice bubble feel, not watery, clean aftertaste. Heineken is fine with me too, although I don't like the bubbles or aftertaste as well. Chimay is yummy and pretty widely available as well.

Same with every beer nobody in whole of Australia drinks fosters if you did you would struggle to buy it all is exported.

We have Stella Artois brewed in Australia in it would easily outsell Forsters it is all in marketing.

In Tijuana mexico you can can buy a Carona for probably under a dollar come to Australia and you will pay $10+ and it sells because it is boutique apparently.

I really like this Belgian beer one.

The Vintage version received some medals and was even found one of the best beers in the world. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/rodenbach-vintage/112249/

For people that are sending traffic to us, I can arrange some high quality Belgian beers on the Amsterdam / Prague show :-)

10 dollars? Come on... In Europe it cost maybe 1Eur and 50 cents.
I do not believe it is 10 dollars in Australia. That sounds like bar/club price, not store price

Never liked that sweet flavour of Stella. The ones I like the most are Velvet and Kilkenny, these are half-dark beers, quite similar to each other. Czech and German lagers are fine too and much more ubiquitous.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that

Welcome to 2014 - There are more than 3,000 craft breweries in the US and any craft beer drinker in the EU knows the US is turning out amazing beers - http://www.brewersassociation.org/category/insights/
