The roll out was disappointing. However, the comment about "the President should have been checking up on this on a weekly basis" is kind of silly. He most likely was. But the roll out of the exchange was one small aspect of a huge law. Perhaps all of this could have been avoided if Congress was doing it's job instead of filing lawsuits.

It's not about the white victim it's the double standard that gets me. Unlike liberals who think of themselves as some kind of victim almost all the time I don't see myself as a victim. But the double standard is the order the day.

Take for example the black on white crime dubbed the 'knockout game'. The major news media won't even talk about it and deny it exists. But hundreds and hundreds of cases is hard to ignore but they manage to do it. We had a case locally here where two people were employed by the major newspaper had an encounter with these thugs. The newspaper didn't even publish a story until days later and buried in on the15th page somewhere. Local police don't want to talk about it. Because it makes the city look bad.

So you see, if this was white on black crime it would be front-page news.

What do you mean? They have already had a Republican led investigation that came to the conclusion the WH was not to blame. This was yet another Republican led investigation that big surprise came to the exact same conclusion.. It was 2 different Republican committees.

That conflicts with accusations of administration wrongdoing voiced by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista (San Diego County), whose House Government Oversight and Reform Committee has held hearings on the Benghazi attack.


Stevens, who grew up in Piedmont, and the other Americans died when Libyans attacked the consulate on Sept. 11, 2012. Among the Intelligence Committee's findings, according to Thompson:

-- Intelligence agencies were "warned about an increased threat environment, but did not have specific tactical warning of an attack before it happened."

-- "A mixed group of individuals, including those associated with al Qaeda, (Moammar) Khadafy loyalists and other Libyan militias, participated in the attack."

-- "There was no 'stand-down order' given to American personnel attempting to offer assistance that evening, no illegal activity or illegal arms transfers occurring by U.S. personnel in Benghazi, and no American was left behind."

-- The administration's process for developing "talking points" was "flawed, but the talking points reflected the conflicting intelligence assessments in the days immediately following the crisis."

Those talking points included assertions that those who attacked the compound were angered by an obscure anti-Muhammad video posted to YouTube in the U.S. There is disagreement to this day about whether that was the case.

The whole Benghazi outrage was nothing more that a tax payer paid for propaganda event led by the Republicans in the house.. Just like the so called IRS scandal and the ridiculous law suit. It's all nothing more than right wing propaganda paid for with our tax dollars.

Soon as they get proven wrong they forget about the whole issue publicly but our tax dollars are still long ago spent on the wasteful BS where they try to score brow ice points with their base.

Plenty of Republican politicians have tried to distance themselves from Dubya for very good reasons. They all but apologized for helping him right after Obama was elected. The IRS targeted right-wing groups. It was denied. Then it was more or less proven without the final evidence pieces to show off. Then it came out that these final evidence pieces were destroyed. Regardless of who is in office, I have no fucking clue how anyone can laugh at that and say "but the other guy did it too!"

So many people are so concerned with protecting their "guy" (who doesn't give a flying fuck about them) that little accountability takes place because the "other" guy did it too. Yeah, the other guy did it too, they both suck ass, kick them both out instead of using it as an excuse why your guy should get away with it.

Barney Frank is very liberal likely one of the most liberal people in congress, however he usually doesn't hold back his opinion. The things he said were right, Obama did do a crappy job with the roll out. However it's come around and the kinks were worked out.. Is everyone happy with it? No, but the facts remain that there are now more Americans insured than there ever have been.

Obamacare will continue to be tweaked and in a few years it will be as normal as the social security system or Medicare to the American public.

Now...what COULD have happened is Pres. Obama could have stopped Big Pharma from charging Americans 4 and 5 times MORE for the SAME EXACT prescription drugs. But no...let's force people to buy insurance.

"Insurance" by definition is supposed to be for catastrophic medical problems. You are supposed to be "insuring" yourself in case something bad happens instead of it being some kind of third party payment scheme for every time you stub your toe.

But thanks to the Federal govt. holding hands with the Big Medical and Big Insurance corporations starting back during the Reagan years...the American people have been fleeced.

And I'm sorry...but Baby Jesus Obama fell right in line and furthered the never-ending rising costs of healthcare.
