Do you use privacy protection on your computer monitor and/or laptop screen? When I'm around the house I've got little ones constantly getting peeks at my screen and it has become an issue so I grabbed this 3M Privacy Filter from Amazon but it was shit honestly. My screen got darker from straight on and was still viewable from the sides plus little bubbles showed up where the film touched my screen looked like water or something all over the screen. Not acceptable.

So now I'm on the hunt for something else to do the trick. I've seen some of these old school privacy hoods but they seem pretty big and bulky.

Anyone else have need for something like this? What are you using?

I mainly work from office so its not a problem. I've seen some of these filters and they are not good at all. They alter colors, make screen blurry, dark etc. These hoods are actually used in high-end EIZO monitors. Question is if you can find something that will match your monitor's dimensions or be adjustable to them.
