Hi all,

We are looking at refining our GA setup so we can track all sales via GA, however, with the purchase process via CCBill and Epoch meaning the user leaves our site then goes to Epoch or CCBill site, then back to our site, we are finding it very hard to setup tracking properly to track sales via GA.

Has anyone done this successfully before and got it working and offer any hints and tips?

Before you spend time and energy on this you may want to consider that GA is not true stats, GA gives you stats based on sample data.

Google analytics is not really designed for tracking specific people. Its purpose is really to just give you insights to general trends of your traffic. You really should use something built for tracking specific actions.

As mentionned, Google analytics was not designed to do that and is not accurate. I have some customers that have compared the Sliiing numbers and the Google analytics numbers and Google was missing a few sales.

Maybe not worth spending your time with.

You can insert your GA ID:
Manage the Subaccounts > Subaccount Admin > Advanced
Scroll down to Tracking Setup
You can also setup Goals in GA to further track transactions.
