'rapists are right'

a shit statement, but if someone wants to hold that view, well, that's their view.

getting a picture of someone's daughter who was raped, superimposing a roofie on their forehead, and sending that to them with the caption 'rapists are right' would be a slightly different matter - or am I the only one here who can see the difference? Is that just 'free speech', and dangerous to to suggest there might just be a consequence?

Speaking as a Jew, who had a grandmother that survived a camp, I find this kind of law completely wrong and I always have. I was staggered years ago, when a French friend of mine told me that denying the Holocaust was a "crime" in Europe. That kind of censorship is total bullshit. If some wackjob moron wants to claim that it never happened, or that Hitler was a great guy, then he should have the right to say / print that crazyiness.

Luckily in the US, we are still clinging on to the right to free speech, but only barely.

It is not "freedom of speech" but a death threat.

Like sending someone a bullet.

To send them a Nazi Jewish star and call them a "Jewish Communist"... we know what the Nazis did to Jews... is threatening behaviour.
