what were you reading when you came across that? I read a new book every 2-3 days, listen to an audio book every month and watch the news daily and have never heard of it either

The news. I also like to look at maps (goes well with your civilizations and origin history.) Read something strange in the news about a country, look it up on the map, you can't help but notice other countries in the surrounding area.

Case in point: Burkina Faso is in West Africa. Had I been researching Ebola and the countries impacted by this year's Ebola outbreak, I would have been blind to not see Burkina Faso.

did no research on ebola myself and seldom look to Africa.. mostly western and eastern Europe...for instance
