Dating website advice needed

I've purchased a website friendsfornow.com which I would like it to be a adult dating website. Obviously nudity is allowed.
(Negative or positive opinions on the domain welcome )

I need pros and cons advice on a good script. I was considering skadate.
My other concern is should the site be mobile or traditional desktop width?

My biggest hesitation is what can I can offer that isn't being used on a million other free dating websites.

Thanks

I get a lot of complaints about Skadate on a near daily basis. People complain that it doesn't work and their tech support isn't helpful.

I know I'm biased because I work for a white label dating platform, but every day I hear stories about how people went through all of the effort buying the script and installing it, putting a design to it, only to find out that when they need help their customer support doesn't answer them.

Nearly every day I hear about how they spent a ton of money trying to get Skadate to work and end up running their site off of a white label.

I have no advice for Skadate never used it...
I do have 1 question. What are your plans for starting a dating site with no current user profiles?

One would think that you would need user profiles to start.

What about building a white label were you collect the user data and then API the data to the white label provider then you have a copy of your user data and in time if you wish you can remove the WL and populate a dating site of your own one your domain with said user data that you have cultivated.

The domain name (Friendsfornow.com) is good if you think that later your friend might turn out to be an enemy.
You might also register: EnemiesLater.com

Great domain name, easy to remember. I could see that as a "Trick girls into letting you fuck them" or "Im married so we can only be friends for now" type of thing.
Only concern is that the abbreviation is FFN which could be confused with FriendFinderNetwork. Just something to know about.

Looks like generic software to get started. I would look into investing in something that allows you to have an affiliate program as thats where most of your adult traffic will probably come from.

I wouldnt do a dating site without an affiliate program unless you have a shitload of money for advertising, like 5-6 figures a month, or your niche was super location/niche specific i.e.; Married couples in Georgia who are looking for no strings "Just friends for now on the side" etc.

There are so many dating sites out there with big budgets and teams of employees driving up the bidding prices to advertise on facebook and adwords so youll need to niche and/or have an affiliate program to make it cheaper for you to advertise.
but just general "Friends for now" around the world, without affiliates and a small budget will be extremely hard for you to gain traction.

and youll want something VERY mobile friendly or don't bother. people are used to mobile now.

SkaDate's not right for Adult IMO.

You need retention and the tools to convert these days as others have said in this thread, in order to recoup your ad dollars.

Hit me up and talk through your plans and lets see if we can help.
