After last year no handshakes, that flu was dreadful.

But to answer your question, yes a limp handshake (especially a sweaty limpy) is usually a good indicator of a persons manliness... and other traits.

Alternatively, nothing annoys me more than the guy who thinks "firm handshake" means "crush bones." The perfect handshake is something like this; palms touch, grip feels intentional and enthusiastic, two pumps, and done.

But actually I like the idea of fist bumps better all around. We should just make that the official international greeting. Enough with the face-kisses, handshakes, and head nods.

^^^this - i am german, i'm not used to things like this - so it is sometimes awkward for me when i either try to shake the fist of the other person or think i am done with the handshake and the other person continues with whatever the ritual consists of

i learned to give a firm handshake and look the other person in the eyes

I agree.

Personally, i'm a firm hand shake type of guy, but I don't judge on others hand shake styles.

Like I said before; Some of the wealthiest people, CEOs, people that are in charge of authorizing my wires, have had some of the softest hand shakes. I would be an idiot to judge these people on their hand shake alone.

That has been my experiences with hand shakes. No judgment from me.
