Poor Bitcoin...

Everytime I look at the price it's dropped lower. Currently at $172 on Bitstamp although all other exchanges reflect the same picture.
I thought $300 was about right. Bitcoin Ticked along at that price for some time, gradulally losing value but recently it's getting hit fucking hard.

What are your (o wise GFY) predictions for this date 2016?

If lot of people were to buy now would this not push price up, not down?

Depends if a lot less people are selling than buying. Some people that buy now will unload as soon as their target price is met. That might stop a small rally.

Anyone who thought it was a "get rich quick scheme" deserves to have lost money.

Right now, it's not profitable to mine -- miners are selling coin to pay the bills (and keep servers in the racks). It's flooding the marketing, and we saw a major correction already. Soon, the difficulty of Bitcoin mining will go down (it will be adjusted to account for fewer miners), making it profitable again, driving price gains, and then repeating the cycle.

been doing it for years and posting about it. I have helped many and if I wrote an ebook it would be more like an epage.
Don't hate just try it and don't get scared and give up by cashing out "because you will only lose a little if you do it now"
It has gone up and down 1000 times. Sometimes you wait 3 days and other times you might have to wait 2 months but you will make a nice profit and then do it again.
The only time you will lose is when it crashes and never comes back.
It could happen someday but until then ride the wave!

Absolutely not. They went offline when we crossed $250, and won't come back until then. I have a deal worked out with the data center where I pay a lower price when they are not running.

I didn't mind the pop from $165 or so, where I dipped back in, to around $220 today.
