I prefer programs that send updated content, news about new sites, etc via mail. This is how I get 80% of the content to my editors. If I had to log in individually to every program, that would be my sole task!

So yea, programs that send mail get updates up much faster.

It might be a good idea to weed out everyone who hasn't been sent a check once a year or so and stop sending them promo emails. I'm not sure how easy that is over ccbill but it would probably prevent some of your emails from being marked as spam.

Great point, marking it as spam can hurt the 'sending reputation' of the sender which if you are promoting them isn't productive. Then again if they don't make it an easy cut and dry process to unsubscribe they are 'spamming'
