I've recently decided to live by the "Prime Directive". Seriously, everything we learned form Star Trek we can apply to life. The Prime Directive "prohibits Starfleet personnel from interfering with the internal development of alien civilizations". In simple terms, if it doesn't directly affect me it's none of my business. If someone doesn't hold the door open for me or someone cuts me off on the road, it's not my place to curse them or tailgate them. So much easier to just ignore it.
