![]() I have a trial subscription to Moz Pro, and Open Site Explorer is very slow. I am working on pulling some csv reports. The computer that I have is not brand new, but it is fairly good. Processor is still good, a lot of RAM. I dont have any issues like that on any of the other sites. Does it work the same way for you? It looks like they could redo the whole thing in a different language, or something like this. What would take me 4 or so hours, may take 1.5 days or more.

Moz has been slow the past week, its not just you. The scripts I'm running normally takes 2-3 days has been in excess of a week now.

Moz has the best Alexa rank, out of the 4 good tools:
Moz - 354 Semrush - 630 Ahrefs - 1133 Majestic - 2564 Semrush used to be on the top of list like this, around a year ago. Alexa Rank can be manipulated too, I am not sure if to this extent though. They are probably ranking for a lot of seo things. They marketing is good, but the Open Site Explorer is not as good. # # # Edit Open Site Explorer is not bad actually, it is good. I would also look at how it compares to the other two in terms on the amount of data, and price. If these are good (price probably isnt) it should be good. Majestic is cheap, more data. Ahrefs probably the best, but I am not sure. |
