I heard an interview by Cruz asking about his getting obama care and the weird headlines and comments about his getting Obama care.... Cruz: I got Obama care because the American people are being forced to get obama care and I disagree with obama/congress/senate making an illegal exception for themselves.... Take anything Ted Cruz says with a grain of salt. He also just said that the Earth hasn't warmed any in the last 17 years. He is a typical Tea Party nut job.

The guy is not very well informed or worse yet he outright lies knowing the opposite is true, in order to gain political stature with his Tea Party fan base. You be the judge on that one.. The fact is either of those two options would cost him more money, hence the reason he is looking or plans to go on Obamacare.

I paid $12,127.80 for healthcare insurance and health related (Prescription, OTC, Dental and Optical) expenses last year for myself (1 person). I am glad to hear that "Ted" is feeling the pain paying his share too.

I read there was a proposal on the table that federal lawmakers should have to contribute 6% of their pre-tax income toward paying for their health benefits -- they should be forced to join the club.

the point is cruz does NOT have to pay his share.... cruz has the same benefits that Obama gave himself and congress, which cruz states is illegal. cruz is going with a more expensive health plan with less benefits because thats the law.
