Calm down sweetheart, I posted a movie poster as you did, for a "real man" you sure are a little over-sensitive.

Nah, not a fan of the woman urinating position, or slavic squat position as you call it.

The movie that affected me the most was 'ALIVE'
When they resorted to cannibalism. The worst is that is was based on a true story

Same here. I`m a big bastard and have lifted weights ever since I was in my teens (I weigh some 240 lbs) and I like to think of myself as someone who holds it together well and tears are just not something I do. That went out of the window with this film...I too was a blubbering wreck and like you, just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.

When Bambi's mother was killed.....I was a small child and it is my first memory of being devastated. It scarred my brain.

I think it's just about the loyalty of a dog that gets that emotional reaction. There's no other creature like them on the planet.

scenes rather than a whole movie for me. one that springs to mind is at the end of seven pounds when rosario dawson meets woody harrelson, and he susses out who she is - man I was a wreck lol. Her seeing the good will smith did, woody realising how emotional she must have been - I thought everyone could really get into the mind of fictional characters and place themselves in those moments, and feel their feelings. Turns out not everyone can (and is far less common than I used to think it was), so I actually get choked up at a lot of stuff most people don't, it seems.

Good because I can really get into a film, shit when your teenage daughter takes the piss (or thinks you are putting it on lol)

I fucking cried at some part of the cartoon movie Tarzan ffs, and it wasn't even that sad a part

edited to add:
I just realised right after I posted, the 'sad' things I'm not too bad with, it's the happy but very emotive things that seem to get me the most. So that scene from seven pounds is actually a happy one rather than a sad one. Fucked if I can remember the tarzan one though.

I can get a little choked up on individual scenes also. It's when all of the filmmaking elements come together for a perfect cinematic moment. The cinematography, music, etc.

I feel like this is what separates a film lover for someone who just watches movies as a distraction.

Failsafe was much better I found.

But for ultimate nuclear sad: "The Day After" - Watching Jason Robards look around the ashes of his old house and finding his wife's picture (or something), then start crying, then get huge by another burned guy - UGH, sad....

There was another one. It was a cartoon about nuclear war... an old couple I think... so sad I had to turn it off.

The part where they bring the blacks to America is heartbreaking.

The one with Viggo in a post apocalyptic world where theres no hope. The saddest movie/vision in my book.
