I understand your point, but I don't think this is the same. Especially if you go to this girl's twitter or site, and she's got her resume/professional (mainstream) portfolio...etc.

I mean, I not necessarily taking her side in the original request for removal of content, but she obviously shot with FTV under the impression the photos/videos would be displayed with an alias. Even if somehow her birth name was figured out by someone, that doesn't make it cool to just start listing that name with her porn shit.

Unless the Kara name is an alias, and she's stupidly using the same alias for her acting/mainstream modeling career as she did for porn. Then it's her own fault.

Edit: The FTV links on freeones have her real name listed, even though you can also find the same galleries on FTV with the Avilia name. wtf....

My view is this.... I worked with tons of models. It's normal human behavior to want money today without thinking about future consequences. That is a behavior that producers exploit. No sane person could possibly think that it's unreasonable for an 18 year old to regret we decision in a few years. She doesn't need to understand your perspective.... she won't and she can't: she's not you, she's not running your business... she's someone who is in.a panic likely because someone saw her and recognized her,... It's unrealistic to think she's going to "understand". Explain the costs of production, the value of the content and give her a figure to buy it back. NEVER say anything more than you have to .... that's just simple business law 101.

Treat every business correspondence like you're about to get sued By the person you're corresponding with. Choose your words wisely. You'll never have a rational conversation with an irrational person, a sane conversation with an insane person, an honest conversation with a corrupt person or a reasonable conversation with an unreasonable person. Choose every word carefully as if it will be evidence against you. When you do that, you'll find you have a lot less to worry about in these sorts of exchanges. And DO NOT be baited into a back and forth, arguments etc where you'll eventually slip and say the wrong thing. Just resend your original, well thought out response.

First off, you misread what i wrote. All I was saying was be sympathetic. Being aware of her emotional despair and treating her politely as a result is not saying you caused any of it. She is the cause of her own issues by modeling and signing a release of the rights. My advice is solid because it suggests working with the model to help achieve a mutually acceptable resolution.

I do agree that you have to be considerate to her irrationality and choose words carefully.

This is all mute though because the OP is an affiliate and he only has limited rights to use the content and does not own it outright so the right thing to do is to refer the model to FTV to deal with the issue if they own the content rights.
