Remarketing via Facebook
Facebook has a feature that lets you create match lists, based on email, phone, FB UID, etc. You upload your list, and they match against their database; if they know about the person, their FB profile gets added to the custom list. This means that it's possible to remarket to former customers, via FB, rather than having to email them. They see ads, or sponsored posts, on FB.
In other words, you can strongly target a campaign to show only to customers or leads you already know of. May not work so well if you run a hardcore site (I can imagine that most customers wouldn't like pr0n ads following them, and FB probably wouldn't be too keen on your ad copy or landing page), but for things that are less blatantly adult, maybe it could do better? Has anyone tried this? |

I have come to the conclusion that any investment other than a throw-a-way marketing effort for adult website use in Facebook would be a bad investment.
Facebook could take your ad money and then throw you under the bus -- you would be out your time also. For mainstream products it's an excellent idea. |
