I have no issues with the Jews or Israel. Seriously think about it, their country is stuck in the middle with Muslim countries all around them who want nothing more than to wipe them off the earth. Of course the Jews are going to be hard liners and respond to any acts of terrorism against them with pure aggression. I was just pointing out that in Jewish Israel, homosexuality is accepted, and crazy wacko extremists are rare, and their actions land them in jail. In other words, Israel does it's best to stop craziness like this. Yes and no.. Israel is clearly at odds with them as in the example given over military service.. However it's these guys whom are the ones whom keep pushing the border further and further by taking over settlements and running the Palestinians out.

I think the govt there has a love hate relationship with them, because they are more than happy to keep gobbling up settlements from the Palestinians and it's these orthodox whom do the ground work to do that.

You are missing the reality of the problem. It is ashkenazi vs sephardim that is problem. Ask 600,000 Sephardi Iranian jews. I learned this from a sephardi jew in LA. An ex-landlord for our company.
