Obviously drunk driving is not, but admittedly I haven't been exposed to much foreign advertising, so I don't know if other countries have commercials about supersized drinks or with a bunch of 20 year olds drinking coors lite surrounded by bikini babes, followed by MADD commercials with annoying babies crying because the parent didn't make it home alive that night.

Some people can handle having a drink or two and drive just fine. Others can't see straight after a visit to a friends house. That's why they have legal limits to drive. In California it's .08% blood alcohol level. If you are drifting out of your lane, then I would say you are way above that. From what I heard, this guy was not that big, so he didn't have to drink too much to get drunk.

My point isn't advocating driving impaired ... but that for some/me it's the norm to have a few drinks and the effects are minimal at the most.
