New 3rd Party Bitcoin Adult Site Processing

A surfer goes to your site to join. Signup page says .1052 Bitcoin = $24.95 click here to join.

They goto the processors site, buy the bitcoins via credit card, the processor adds their membership to your database, and they're in!

Does this exist or would this be something new? I want to try it on my most popular site exclusively.

I dont understand why they would use their cc to buy bitcoin on your processor?

Do you want to be paid in bitcoin (and keep that currency)? Otherwise I don't get why you would add that extra step and not have them pay directly by CC to join your site (and increase your chances of getting a rebill).

It's a ''payment laundry'' idea?

That there is no direct contact with his credit card issuing bank and a porn site -- anonymity?

If I am understanding your reasons right?

Are you saying that you can't buy bitcoins with your credit card, and any place you can is a scam?

To my knowledge this is how most bitcoins are purchased, by credit card.

They require a screening process and some insist a photo of you holding up your drivers license.

Right, and you can buy Bitcoins with Paypal here. So , I'm confused. I'm new to the whole Bitcoin thing.

Well see: you can buy btc with your credit card or paypal on a Few number of regulated btc exchanges (and this is relativity new, last year or so) BUT only after your account has been approved (ID verification and Bank account details ARE required) and this can take a few business days?.Buying btc on these Exchanges via wire-transfers is usual a bit quicker (as these types of payments don?t have chargebacks and maybe your account doesn?t have to get approved platinum level yet)

So yes buying btc with a credit card instantly and randomly on a website is crying out scam one way or another - just my 2cents

Jason pretty much summed it up too.

Oh nice that's awesome! I haven't heard about that one - thanks. Though I am guessing that was during office hours ;) and did he already have a payoneer account?

It's not payoneer... it's payeeer. I don't know if you can attach a .com to that or not... it was a very quick convo but he did pay in one day and get those bitcoins.

That’s a great startup pitch ;) I think they got 1.5million in funding too!

There’s not very much info about Simplex. It looks like they act like a 3rd party (high risk) by guaranteeing the funds (by simply paying upfront the bill). And I think they only deal with verified accounts and this is only on a few btc exchanges, btc wallets, mining pools here, *so doesn't apply to the OP specific question of On site purchase.

Here’s another good source Bitcoin wiki

I think all the above (companies from the wiki) still require some sort of KYC verifications (uploading ID) or that the purchases are made via a paypal or western union or have certain limitations – at least for North Americans (maybe in EU its different), Bittylicious is a good example .

I mean in the US all purchases at a btc ATM require ID and a Hand scan ;)

I like what I see there

It's unfortunate that the banks make it impossible for the average consumer to buy bitcoins without uploading ID.

I really want a surfer buying a subscription with bitcoin on my site via CC and have it converted to cash with the processor keeping difference.

Coinsnap offers that the user can buy in bitcoin on your side and the merchant gets the settlement in USD or EUR on there bank account.
If the user must pay €10,- you will get €10,-

If the user doesn't have bitcoin he can buy it in a Bitcoin Shop like btcexpress.net that is a shop with european payment method and CC on the next release.

The important advantage of btcexpress is that there is no registration, selfie, ID or something like this needed. Just an email address and one of the offered payment method.

Even ignoring KYC and money exchanger requirements, allowing unverified CC purchases of Bitcoin is a disaster waiting to happen, because you cannot reverse a Bitcoin transaction. There's no dispute process or central authority (ie Paypal monkeys) to take the money back from your "account." A valid transaction effectively becomes binding within a few seconds of being transmitted to the network. At that point there's no way to delete it, or recover the funds.

Hello. Let me recommend web site 247exchange.com - it's one of few websites who accepts cc for bitcoins with financial license. It makes buying and selling bitcoins totally safe.

247exchange also has affiliate program, so if you accept bitcoins, you can recommend your customers to buy bitcoins with cash or cc on this website, and you will get 30% of the service fee for each transaction.
