I'm not sure how anyone can look at a deal where an exceedingly large percentage of a country's nuclear capability is hobbled, and say it's a path to a bomb.

I don't believe Cheney should be shot or put in jail. I believe the Bush administration "wanted" to go into Iraq, was looking for an excuse, and thought they had found it. That combined with some poor decision making made for a lot of very large mistakes.

Saddam has to take a huge part of the blame here too. When the world's most powerful country comes knocking at your door you need to let them in. Instead, he thought he could take on the United States military. The reality is that the United States beat Iraq with a single strike, the very first one - taking out a key communication center that quickly ended the ability of the Iraqi military and it's government to communicate.

Richard “Benedict Arnold” Cheney was not just the absolute worst thing to happen to America, he was also a traitor that should be tried, convicted and put to death for treason.

He led the charge calling for the invasion of Iraq, based on the misleading claim that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, and so what if they did?
Would they have used them on us? We would have annihilated them and they knew it.
They were at war with Iran; a country in the region that we knew for sure was developing WMD’s, whose chants are “Death to Americans” and declared that they our arch enemy.

the question has no relevance. chris wallace invites cheney on to his show to pitch a book then asks a question designed to damage cheney's character, integrity, and reputation. why give him the views to sell a book then put him on blast in the interview? because it's sensationalized journalism based on gotcha. you exclaimed yourself that cheney has no relevance, you asked the question "who cares what he thinks about anything?).

no one should care what he thinks about anything. i don't. it's been common knowledge for years now that iran increased the number of their centrifuges exponentionally in 2008-2009 and that happened on bush/cheny/rumsfeld's watch. but this is 2015 and the issue today is the nuclear accord BO did with iran, of course cheney is going to claim it's a bad deal, that's a lock. and that's only part of why his view is entirely irrelevant.

play out the q&a yourself assuming cheney replied "yes, that's what happened in 2008-09." then what? that's it, it doesn't matter.
