he first denies it then says "right" ... seriously? That's his political response. Just keep talking and people might not notice you denied, lied then accepted that you lied?

I'm not sure how anyone can look at a deal where an exceedingly large percentage of a country's nuclear capability is hobbled, and say it's a path to a bomb.
Oh yeah, I know how. Because Obama. and Dick Cheney should kill himself. He's partly responsible for the deaths of thousands of people, when you count up the lives of American soldiers and Iraqi civilans -- and the even dead refugee kid on the beach. That's all on Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld. He should stop talking about his subject and slit his own throat with a dull, serrated butter knife. Of course this happened on Fox News Sunday. That's when they take a break from all the propaganda and have an actual balanced political discussion...when most of their audience probably isn't watching.

Dick Cheney should be in jail as a traitor to this country or better yet shot. Why would anyone take anything he says with any sort of relevance. He should be blind folded lined up against the wall and shot as the traitor he is. Thousands of people have lost their lives due to his lies.

I don't believe Cheney should be shot or put in jail. I believe the Bush administration "wanted" to go into Iraq, was looking for an excuse, and thought they had found it. That combined with some poor decision making made for a lot of very large mistakes.
Saddam has to take a huge part of the blame here too. When the world's most powerful country comes knocking at your door you need to let them in. Instead, he thought he could take on the United States military. The reality is that the United States beat Iraq with a single strike, the very first one - taking out a key communication center that quickly ended the ability of the Iraqi military and it's government to communicate.

Dick will get right back to you but first he has to check on the new Israeli gas fields project he has going on. And people wonder why Syria and Iraq is being cleared out.

He led the charge calling for the invasion of Iraq, based on the misleading claim that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction, and so what if they did? Would they have used them on us? We would have annihilated them and they knew it. They were at war with Iran; a country in the region that we knew for sure was developing WMD’s, whose chants are “Death to Americans” and declared that they our arch enemy. It is also strongly suspected that he cut a monetary deal with Iran to invade Iraq because Iran was afraid if we supported Iraq the same way Russia was supporting them, the results could be devastating. Be that as it may he still owes the American people an explanation as to why he would assist a country that basically declared war on them, but he can’t do that and the reason why he cant is because it was never out of concern for humanity it was all about greed. Financially the cost of the nearly decade-long Iraq war to the American people will go on for years, but there are companies that made money off that war. The number one recipient is Houston-based energy-focused engineering and construction firm KBR, Inc. which was spun off from its parent, oilfield services provider Halliburton Co. and Cheney, just happens to be chief executive officer of the company, They were given $39.5 billion in Iraq-related contracts, and many of the deals given without any bidding from competing firms, including a $568-million contract renewal in 2010 to provide housing, meals, water and bathroom services to soldiers, a deal that led to a Justice Department lawsuit over alleged kickbacks. This is why that Benedict Arnold scumbag must be held accountable and tried for treason. |

Why the hell does anyone ever ask Cheeney, the man who was wrong about absolutely everything, what he thinks about anything? That guy should be in prison.
And Dynamo, don't cal that a "Gotcha Question". You're so pathetic. You think that his questioning of Cheeney was somehow unfair? You think he was tricked? There's Cheeney trying to blame Obama, and Chris Wallace pointed out the LIE right to that old fuckers face. And you still don't want to him him credit for it? I hate Fox but shit man even I will will give Wallace a hand-shake on that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curveball_(informant)
Blame The Bush administration laid blame on the CIA, criticizing its officials for "failing to investigate" doubts about Curveball, which emerged after an October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate. In May 2004, over a year after the invasion of Iraq, the CIA concluded formally that Curveball's information was fabricated. Furthermore, on June 26, 2006, The Washington Post reported that "the CIA acknowledged that Curveball was a con artist who drove a taxi in Iraq and spun his engineering knowledge into a fantastic but plausible tale about secret bioweapons factories on wheels."[15] On April 8, 2005, CIA Director Porter Goss ordered an internal review of the CIA in order to determine why doubts about Curveball's reliability were not forwarded to policy makers. Former CIA Director George Tenet and his former deputy, John E. McLaughlin, announced that they were not aware of doubts about Curveball's veracity before the war. However, Tyler Drumheller, the former chief of the CIA's European division, told the Los Angeles Times that "everyone in the chain of command knew exactly what was happening."

the question has no relevance. chris wallace invites cheney on to his show to pitch a book then asks a question designed to damage cheney's character, integrity, and reputation. why give him the views to sell a book then put him on blast in the interview? because it's sensationalized journalism based on gotcha. you exclaimed yourself that cheney has no relevance, you asked the question "who cares what he thinks about anything?). no one should care what he thinks about anything. i don't. it's been common knowledge for years now that iran increased the number of their centrifuges exponentionally in 2008-2009 and that happened on bush/cheny/rumsfeld's watch. but this is 2015 and the issue today is the nuclear accord BO did with iran, of course cheney is going to claim it's a bad deal, that's a lock. and that's only part of why his view is entirely irrelevant. play out the q&a yourself assuming cheney replied "yes, that's what happened in 2008-09." then what? that's it, it doesn't matter. and chris wallace considers himself the king of gotcha journalism. i read some interesting interviews about him where he thumps his chest about all the thought he puts into his gotchas. none of this has anything to do with my having voted for Clinton and BO or the fact that the media is out of control. I hope that clears up your questions. enjoy your posting at gfy. |
