Issue with Namecheap URL redirects

Namecheap live chat have advised me that :

"Recently it was discovered that we are having some issues with URL redirect records which contains & ' and " symbols."

An example of an issue is that a URL containing &, when saved to Namecheap host records will have the symbol & turn into &and scramble some of your URLs. In some cases, your URL redirect will not work or track properly.

Just a heads up as the issue is not flagged in their status updates where they advise of bugs etc and has been around for several weeks.

I had this problem before, which is why its easier to forward with a url on the old system and then forward urls on new to that url. It works especially well for long aff id's with parameters and solves the problem while they fix it up.
