I thought mixing zones is a big issue...If you are in USA you cannot use Verotel etc...

I can't believe they didn't give you some sort of notice or explanation about this, the money is hardly trivial.

Tell Verotel that.

Im hoping its just some accounting fuckup, Im not all that worried. I been with them since 97.

I just heard the rumors and they just so happened to correspond with my disappearing rebills and the lack of response from my rep. All that combined with the class actions lawsuits, the massive fines that were thrown at them. It just stinks of trouble.

I dont know whats going on. Thats why I asked.

Being escorted out by security is about normal for lots of IT related businesses - lots of security?

Hmmmmmmm

40 does seem to be a very large number if you're thinking what I think your thinking.

I hope the 40 people they canned are the same 40 that had lied to my face over the years. Firing 40 employees at Ibill may not be a bad thing.

I will say that Ibill Cathy kept her word to me through several big crises and I wish her well.

Who knows maybe they looked at the books and found some naughty goings on....escorted a few guys out.

And I cannot get ahold of my rep.

Glad I jumped ship a year ago. Still, 120k a year in rebills is gonna sting a little.

Anyone else seen their rebills go up in smoke?

I dont like rumor, I really dislike rumor, but this source was credible. And I know I am not the only one who knows this right now. Im just a big enough asshole to post it first.

Many people fired, missing checks, no pay for 900 #'s (thats a scam right there), recent bounced checks (criminal), Not 1 single word from them, Now rebill's wiped clean??...... Does someone have to hit you in the head with a hammer ???......Open your eyes man...

Coke lays off thousands and no one says they are going out of business. Thats management 101 have less people do more. I worked for a company laid off a third of their work force and that was almost two years and they are still humming.

Another irrelivent fucking comment. Ok, If I call coke and tell them there was poison in the coke I bought will they ignore me?

If coke raises their price by $1.00 a can and every store quits carrying it would they ignore them?

Regardless of whether or not Ibill is staying or going the sorry fucks need to get off their ass and run their business like a,

get this......................BUSINESS!

Also you have to remember the integrity of cokes customers is much higher than adult webmasters .Coke doesnt have to worry about customers trying to cheat and steal from consumers. Promising them lots of Coke to only find out they paid for RC or promising free cases of coke to consumers to try, only for those consumers to find out they were charged fifty dollars for that coke. You forget the number of thieves and con men in our business. Third party processors have to deal with them and I respect that. If you are not happy with them get your own merchant account its simple if you are not a thief thats not hard to do.

I had rebills go through today with ibill and my scheduled rebills look fine. Are folks daying that ibll is refusing to process gay male sites now? I didn't quite follow that part of this thread. I'm pretty sure that sort of discrimination is illegal in a bunch of states, although probably hunky-dorey in Florida.

The other day after having enough with their checks I asked to get switched to wire...They told me to send them of list of checks that I wanted cancelled and sent as a wire....did that and the next day the fuckin' monkeys there wrote me an email and said all the checks were added up and one new check was mailed to me...I'm soon ready to take a trip to Florida, anyone who wants to join let me know.

That has to suck. Even if they eventually get you squared away the bullshit they have put you through after making them so much money is enough to keep me away forever. Good luck with all of it.

Maybe I am stupid, why would anyone generating over 25K a month use a third party processor? If you are making that kind of money you can afford to hire three people 30 k a year each to watch cc processing and do customer service around the clock.

you don't have a clue. i already handle customer service within my company - that has nothing to do with it.

Why dont I have clue? If you run your business honestly why dont you have your own merchant account. If you are not fucking people it shouldnt be a problem. There is alot less of a chance of a bank going out of business as opposed to a third party processor going under and if a bank goes under they are still your customers.

re: you're edit. scrubbing for fraud, the fact that i'm tied to ibill for at least a year if i left tomorrow due to the rebills (longer due to the reserve). i built my entire business with ibill, and i'm close to retirement. all are factors.

and i've always been paid by ibill. there have been delays, but i've always got every penny. so far (except for web900, which is a joke). in this business, anything can happen. i run things each day with that in mind.
