Would You Employ a Lazy Person?

Have you knowingly employed lazy people, would you employ lazy people again? If you're someone who employs lazy people, what are the benefits?

many of the most talented people i know can be pretty lazy, and it's hard to buy someone's passion

if there's no race condition and they can produce fire work eventually, whatever

if i had in-house or salary employees i wouldn't be nearly as lenient

Absolutely not. Or at least, never again. Lazy people just make endless excuses and blame everyone else and everything else for their inability or unwillingness to do a job.

The best kind of employee you can have is someone that goes out of their way, every day, to make sure things are done properly and quickly.

Not yet, though sales have been slow for a few days

Actually I created the thread expecting everyone to slag off lazy employees, then I was going to throw this cat among the pigeons and see how they react

Are all of your employees in-house?

It's a misguided quote.

Some "lazy" people are like that. They are very good at automating and delegating in order to get things done. And it's usually not a case of them being "lazy," it's a case of them wanting to get the task done and out-of-the-way so they can go do what they really want to do: travel, party, date, sports, whatever.

That's not the norm though.

I employee me and I'm lazy - the benefits to me are great. The people who work for me do tasks, and get them done in a specific time. They do large difficult diffuse tasks ( "let's get some more money in this bitch") and small easy discreet tasks. Outside of that, what they do and when they do it, I couldn't care less.

A lazy person would not want to be employed in the first place, I think.

I don't know about lazy people as that is very subjective HOWEVER, fat people sicken me.

I would never hire or associate with a fucking FAT person. There is simply no reason to be fat. They lack motivation, self-control, and intelligence.

They simply are useless fucks and a waste of space. It is a real shame that mercy killings are not socially acceptable.

I will. here's why:

Lazy person are easy to manage.
Lazy person won't harm your company.
.. they won't complain.
.. they do things in a smart way in order to expend the least effort.

It depends on the job.

I agree with that Bill Gates meme photo.

Laziness is not bad... in the right context.

The laziest webmasters I know were pushed by their laziness to make tons of money through PASSIVE INCOME models.
