I watched it again today - and I agree the guy is a hero - but he reacted with blind emotion and never should have gotten out of his car.

It was straight up suicide to confront a hooded assailant in the act of kidnapping.

He should have gone down another block and did a u-turn while calling 911 and watching the thug.

"Lucky to be alive" doesnt quite cover the magnitude of the miracle that he's still breathing.

I hope they catch that piece of human filth and he does 10 to 20 for the murder- that-should-have-happened.
