Republican Class Warfare

Frum, whose article "The Great Republican Revolt" is the cover story of the January/February issue of The Atlantic, argues that the Republican Party is now divided on class lines.

"The people who write the cheques and the people who run the party in Congress are one group of people," said Frum.

But on the other side of this class divide remains an overwhelmingly large group of voters who do not have a college education and who have struggled to do well in the American economy â?? this is the core Trump has tapped into.

So it's no coincidence that the Trump supporters on GFY seem to have all day to post about how great Trump is?

So what makes this second, moneyless group consider themselves Republican? The xenophobia? Or is it the racism? Hating gay people? If he doesn't run with the elites, what makes toothless trailer-dweller Skeeter Jenkins a Republican?

There's a certain type of jerk-off who goes to the Trump rallies. One protester was being dragged away from a rally a couple of weeks ago, and one of the Trumpers said "set the motherfucker on fire!" This is the kind of angry asshole demographic he's tapped into.

at least democracy is working in the GOP side. lots of choices, lots of diverse ideas, & a genuine conflict between the voters & the establishment. repub voters have their party in fear.

meanwhile, a political machine has stifled all competition on the other side. or maybe none of the other dems have any guts to run against the anointed one. whats warrens excuse? I have to wonder how it feels to be progressive, think your side is the more intelligent one, but you can only choose Hilary, who is only progressive when the winds blow that way, & might yet be indicted for the latest of her 50 scandals.

both parties blow. bottom line.

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
