She quickly came in to get the check book, and it wasn't the women the man had checked in with.

When I was going through college I worked at a hotel, running the front desk. One morning one of the maids came down saying the customer left behind their checkbook. I remember them - cute couple, the man had local ID, told me their house was being fumigated. The wife was hot.

So I called the number on the check book. "Hello Miss Smith, you and your husband left your checkbook behind when you stayed here at the hotel last night". Her reply was "What hotel?".

Twenty minutes later his wife came storming in to get the checkbook. It wasn't the woman he checked in with, and she was fucking pissed off.
