Have you ever noticed how throughout history no one has ever made a good rational and reasonable decision out of anger?

holy shit, a rational post by vendzilla. This is exactly why people should vote on trump.

I like how some people think they are so smart and criticize trump for everything. Yet these 'smart' people will vote for the same old established corrupt political citizenfuckers over and over again.

You mean like voting for Obama because they were angry at Bush?

I think at this point, voting for any of the political machines of the candidates that are nothing more than the same ole thing, just another politician is edging in on insanity. It's clear it doesn't work, people are not happy, the economy is in bad shape. The numbers have been changed to protect the politicians lies and people are not that stupid, well there are a few liberals on this forum that doesn't apply to!

Tea party led to war - but it was also represented as as peaceful protest. Moreover, the protest was chiefly orchestrated by tea smugglers that were losing money on smuggled Dutch tea because the Tea Act had actually reduced prices on British tea imports. There were successful returns of tea that did not lead to war but those of course aren't as historically significant because peaceful protest is never as interesting as a bunch of white guys dressed as Mohawk Indians throwing tea into the ocean.

Trump...

Wants a wall between US and Mexico despite MASSIVE historical facts that prove a wall is no deterrent.

Wants to bring back torture despite its being an international war crime, having little value as a means of extracting actionable information, and shown to incite more violence than it prevents.

Wants to kill innocent people if they are related to terrorists

Now... show me one thing he proposes or advocates that is going to help the country?

Get rid of Obamacare? Why? For the majority of US citizens it has been beneficial. The same republicans railing about it use it themselves.

What else? I mean what has the guy really offered other than "I am a businessman and I know how to close deals".

Imagine if the election came down to either Bernie or Trump? I would just write a big "FUCK YOU ASSHOLES" on the ballot, spit on it, and turn it in.

LOL, it is funny how this guy twist his words on what he is going to do bad and pretends to not know any good thing for the country.
Like, for example, his plans on international trade, bringing jobs back etc.

Fucking libbies are always like that - twist some bad points, ignore good points (this one even pretends to forget one of the corner stones of his plans like bring back jobs and winning at trade agreements! Priceless )

Is there any politician who doesn't say he's going to 'bring back jobs'? Trump was born to a billionaire, yet he's had to file bankruptcy four times. What in his history makes you think he's the best choice to rebuild the economic and physical infrastructure of this nation?

The problem is that intelligent people try to tell you what's wrong with the nation and what needs to be done to fix it, complete with facts, figures and historical precedent, but then you vote for the guy who promises to kick the most foreign asses, build the highest wall or most ruthlessly torture 'terrorists'.

The fact that many of Trump's retail items are manufactured in China, Thailand and Mexico is all the proof you need that trump will bring jobs back to the USA.

Majority of US citizens are paying more for insurance and a much higher deductible, so Obamacare can go bye bye.
And I'm all for bombing the terrorist in their homes, don't pick a fight and whine about losing!
I also have no problem with banning Muslims to this country, looking at Germany and the UK and several countries that are having serious problems with them fuck that!

An egoistic and narcissistic billionaire is what USA needs to "shake things up". A phrase I heard over the time from several ppl the majority of them don't even qualify for middle class. Voters is your call, just hope you happen to be on the right side of the fence when the time comes

Trump is seemingly crushing who's left... Cruz and Rubio. Isn't it better that one drops out so the other can battle Trump alone and get more votes?

Many anti-Trump folks are not necessarily Liberal. Many Dems and Repubs hate their own Party directions too. It's really a homegrown Americanized myth that as Bush said "if you're not with us you're with the enemy".
Politicians can promise many lies to attract support; but it comes down to are the promises really sand or reasonable.

Many Conservatives must be worried sick if Trump gets the nod as leader - it's a dream come true for Dems, moreso if Sanders outpaces Clinton and her baggage.

You have been brainwashed to believe "Muslim = terrorist".

Bombing innocent victims isn't "war" it is called "terrorism".

Where are you getting your information on health care? Everything I read states that while deductibles went up, the majority of insured qualify for discounts that offset that, so more people are insured which is saving taxpayers overall. It isn't perfect but it isn't so bad either and conservatives are taking advantage of it just like liberals.

Trump takes advantage of trade imbalances to profit and takes advantage of bankruptcy to profit as well. So you say "well he is a businessman, of course he would do that" but how you get from that to thinking he is someone that wants what is best for Americans is beyond me.

The man has literally goaded his followers to beat up protesters. You were in the military, didn't you think of Free Speech as being something to protect?

No. I like the movie because its good science fiction. It's everything you said but its also more to the movie than what you included in your post. I encourage you to watch it again.

Ok, direct me to one policy statement with clear goals and purposes. Just saying it in broad terms because people like to hear it isn't enough. It is the same as the politicians that always say they are going to go after porn. Sounds good from the pulpit to the sheeple that want to hear it but getting it done is another story.

Just saying "I am going to renegotiate all our bad deals because I am a businessman badass" isn't enough. Show me where and how and which terms and deals and contracts he intends to change, renege, alter, adjust, etc. and how exactly he is going to do that despite where it involves conflicts of interest in his own companies, other countries not wanting to agree, getting it through legislative, etc. Obamacare has survived despite all sort of challenges so what makes you think he can pull that off? Because he is "The Donald"?

You guys are falling for a bunch of the most ridiculous political platitudes imaginable and it is enough for you because "a successful billionaire said it" so it must be true. Liberal and conservative media is asking the same questions so this is not some sort of libtard whining, it is reasonable and expected from anyone that wants to sit in the Nation's highest office.

Where are you getting your information on health care? Everything I read states that while deductibles went up, the majority of insured qualify for discounts that offset that, so more people are insured which is saving taxpayers overall. It isn't perfect but it isn't so bad either and conservatives are taking advantage of it just like liberals.
Simply math, you understand math don't you? What is it now, 12 million people now have insurance that didn't have it before? The population has grown 16 million during Obama's presidency, that mean more people are without insurance than when he started.

Trump takes advantage of trade imbalances to profit and takes advantage of bankruptcy to profit as well. So you say "well he is a businessman, of course he would do that" but how you get from that to thinking he is someone that wants what is best for Americans is beyond me.
So you are saying he understands the system? I think we need someone that understands the system!

Free speech is out side, not in the room and Trump has been pretty civil to protesters, guess some people don't want to hear it when someone chants bullshit when they want to hear trump!

No, free speech should be no issue in front of the person interviewing for the position of being its greatest defender. You need to think that one through a bit more.

NO thought needed beyond if someone wants to protest at a convention, they do it outside. They just show up to disrupt inside the hall. That's rude, not protesting.

Protesters , Black Lives Matter protesters were forced out of a Hillary convention, where's your outrage?

I am not being a dick. Lick a dead dog's asshole while it passes its last fart. There, that is being a dick. There is a difference between that and just saying that equating all Muslims with terrorism or the issues in Europe is a mistake. If I drew the wrong conclusion from your statement that Muslims should be banned just for being Muslim then forgive me. Maybe you should've clarified that it would be ok for Iraqi's to come here but not Syrians. Many Iranians migrated here to avoid persecution when the revolution toppled the Shah and they have certainly adjusted well to American freedoms.

Free speech and protest at political events, especially the caucuses, is acceptable and a time honored tradition. The way Trump is going get ready for something worse than Chicago in 68.

Privately held companies are more like fascist dictatorships than democracies. Trump has to have his name on everything. Does that strike you as someone that is a man of the people or a man for himself?

I guess you might not be counting the Hillary event where a state representative tried to ask her about Bill Clinton's sexual attacks on women and Hillary attacked her from the stage while the crowd booed her down.

The double standards are stunning here.

Hillary was onstage explaining how victims of sexual predators need to be believed and when she was challenged by a GOP state representative in the crowd she shut her down. Total hypocrisy. And then the crowd turned on the representative.

Trump is called a "racist" by hecklers in the crowd even though he has never done a single racist thing. And when he shuts down those hecklers he's a bad guy.

Hillary was an enabler of Bill. And even called all the women who Bill basically raped "Bimbos" and then had her team set out to destroy them and their credibility.

I just don't understand the double standards and the hypocrisy.

Sorry. You must have me confused with someone that likes Hillary. I would take her as the lesser of two evils but definitely won't excuse her for her faults either.

Hillary and Bill were swingers back in the day, or so I was told by people that used to play in the same scene. That is why she was so "whatever" about the scandals when they broke. Where did you get the rape bit? He partied with sluts and you, me, and many others don't think of that as a derogatory thing at all.

Because there were women who accused him of sexual assault. Hillary had a team of people who she instructed to put down these "bimbo eruptions" as she called them.
Her hypocrisy on women's issues is just astounding to me. She full out this year in speeches was saying how she has ALWAYS defended women and always believed women who claimed men sexually assaulted them.

She's NOT the lesser of two "evils". Trump has never done anything remotely close to enabling a sexual predator like Hillary did.
And yeah...I get that she was protecting her husband. She should just let it go at that. But instead she pretends to be this great "champion" of all women. She's not.

Paula Jones — A former Arkansas state employee who alleged that in 1991 Clinton, while governor, propositioned her and exposed himself. She later filed a sexual harassment suit, and it was during a deposition in that suit that Clinton initially denied having sexual relations with Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives over the matter, but acquitted in the Senate. Clinton in 1998 settled the suit for $850,000, with no apology or admission of guilt. All but $200,000 was directed to pay legal fees.

Juanita Broaddrick — The nursing home administrator emerged after the impeachment trial to allege that 21 years earlier Clinton had raped her. Through an attorney, Clinton denied the claim, and there were inconsistencies in her story. However, several of her friends backed her claim. No charges were ever brought.

Kathleen Willey — The former White House aide said Clinton groped her in his office in 1993, on the same day when her husband, facing embezzlement charges, died in an apparent suicide. (During a deposition in the Paula Jones matter, Willey initially said she had no recollection about whether Clinton kissed her and insisted he did not fondle her.) Clinton denied he assaulted her; an independent prosecutor concluded “there is insufficient evidence to prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that President Clinton’s testimony regarding Kathleen Willey was false.”

Paula Jones... didn't she pose for Penthouse?

Willey - Why don't you mention the letters she wrote as part of why she lacked cred.

Broderick - changed her story and had friends with grudge against Clinton during his time as gov.

Don't forget Gennifer Flowers... posed in Penthouse too.

Lewinsky - took his load more than once and worked with anti clinton faction to try and use it against him. That doesn't really make her out to be a victim, even though she tries to portray it that way.

Now, I am not saying any of these women are wrong but I am saying there are two sides to the story. The ones that filed suits against him did not file charges against him and that smacks of seeking personal gain. Posing for Penthouse? Well, many people would call that a "bimbo" move regardless and would question the "victimization" and suspect the motives since it is an attempt at personal gain and fame through their notoriety. How many rape victims would you guess jump at a chance to be in an explicit men's mag?

Robbie - with all due respect - but the rape charges against Cosby were made fun of here of GFY, dismissed as party time and the women that brought up the charges deemed attention seekers. even though there are dozens by now that claim to be drugged and raped.

now i get that Cosby is not running for president - but isn't that also kind of a double standard? Why is it suddenly that Clintons "victims" are poor women that got assaulted and Cosbys "victims" are attention seekers?

it is mindblowing how things are twisted in any direction that suits the different political agendas here on GFY - from every side of the spectrum

(actually not just on GFY but it is kind of a microcosm - of a society I'd prefer not to live in)

Trump haters need to get on the Trump Train or get run the fuck over!

The momentum is unstoppable now. Millions more are joining Trump each month. By mid-Summer you will be seeing 50,000 people at Trump rallies on regular basis.

I think Trump actually believes he can do those things.

I've known people who were contemplating suicide one year, the next year they got lucky and inherited money or got a job, and they imagine they're the kings of the earth and everyone else they label "peasants" and "losers". Cut to a year later they run through all the money or lose the job, and they're back to suicide. I'm sure we all know a dozen suitcase pimps like this.

Billionaires get their asses licked morning, noon, and night. They get an endless chorus of very smart people who know how to flatter without appearing to flatter. When Donald Trump comes in a room, everyone knows him. He's rich, a TV star, one of the best known people on earth. His father was successful, his kids are successful, he is one of 2000 people that control this planet. He isn't a megalomaniac, he just hears how great he is all day every day, and his personality reflects that.

But will he be able to translate that into success with congress? What will he do with Paul Ryan? How will he handle Darrell Issa? If Obama gets a justice through, how will he deal with the fact that everything he does will go to the supreme court?

The presidency is powerful for a consensus builder. Even Teddy R. had a pragmatic side. Does Donald Trump know when to yield? Can he empathize, which is the essential component of shared responsibility?

George Washington was rich too, and a disruptive force. But he slept on dirt floors for years while he was a surveyor. He knew the land and the poor people. Does Trump? Does he actually know any poor people?

So far, all the bluster and red meat aside, I don't see these things.

Okay Okay, I will lay it all out for you sheeple who STILL think "elections" are not rigged but somehow "pure" and "honest". Here goes:

Hillary has already been selected President BUT she cannot "win" in an honest election (too much baggage). So they (yes, "they") make Donald Trump her opponent who no clear-thinking rational voter would vote for (in the General). The sheeple flock to Hillary ta da!

If a Bush or Rubio or even Cruz were to "win" the Republican nomination there's a slight chance people would vote for them just because they are men. But Donald Trump? The "You're Fired!" guy? LOL C'mon now! He's the perfect monkey to put up against Hillary.

This is the last time I will try and educate you sheeple who go on and on about political bullshit. The entire Government is rigged, it's a broken system all around, yet ELECTIONS are the only part of the process still "pure" and real? With black box voting machines? LOL Wow.

You know, we idiot Americans get the Government we deserve.

Wouldn't that be "slut shaming"?

Also, the point is that Hillary is running around (hypocritically) "championing" women's causes and has point blank called Trump "sexist" on the campaign trail (until he stood up to her and pointed out what she did covering for Bill)...and she has said straight up that "victims" of sexual assault should be "believed".

I'm pointing out that SHE had her own team when Clinton was President in charge of "Bimbo Eruptions" and they had massive amounts of money and power and used it to fuck with these women and try to ruin their lives.

The exact OPPOSITE of what she claims she stands for.

It's just weird to me that some people hate Trump so much that they attack him for not putting up with any shit from a heckler...but give Hillary a free pass on shutting down a Repubican state representative at one of her rallys over her enabling Bill and slut shaming women herself.
