Voting to break the establishment.
Saw Sanders Santa Monica speech an hour ago.
He must terrify the establishment. His promise is to give Democracy back to the people. Trump also is saying what a lot of Americans want to hear. In the UK the Leave the EU camp are saying the same. We the people are being run increasingly by Governments that are led by big business or big bureaucracy. The threat is always the same, do as you're told of the economy will shrink. While people's incomes shrink, countries debts are out of hand and public spending is being reduced. There's only one sector that is benefitting. The top 1%. Their increased wealth is growing faster than ever. Inflating the average wage, when for the rest wage rises aren't keeping pace with the cost of living. And yet, the people vote for this over and over again. They voted for Clinton, in Britain, they might vote to be ruled from Brussels by people they didn't elect. Scared their EU rulers might make EU workers poorer. To make them afraid of asking for their democratic rights. If you want to see change, change things by scaring the ruling class. Change happens from the bottom and goes to the top. Rarely the other way around. |

Elections are always a scam. Case in point Austrian presidential election, which was won by the left by something like 3k votes with some cities having 600% voter turnout...

Agree that there is a lot of electoral fraud. So maybe S4B has a point. The migration crisis engineered by Merkel, bosses and the EU. Will force more to vote Right Wing. |

It's vote and nothing will change... whether you vote for this or vote for that; Or revolution... which could kill the current establishment which would then be replaced simply by a new establishment. You see... if you can't see the bigger picture of how the world works and have Always worked; you can't say anything accurate about basically anything.

598% of "special votes" counted in Linz for instance:
Linz - Service 3518 people eligible for special vote, 21060 votes counted. That one place alone could have changed the whole presidential election.

Change won't come overnight. It certainly won't change if we take the attitude S4B takes.
I come from a generation that helped stop a war in Vietnam, changed laws on race and discrimination. Even today we are changing the way the Establishment wants. Gay Rights and Marriage are the last. More people need to take to the streets to protest against wars in places that are rarely not at war, funding terrorists, corrupt governments, and leaders. By sitting back the only changes you'll see are the ones the elite want. The chink in their armour is they rely on us to buy their goods. I'm not advocating Socialism. I'm advocating bringing power back to the people. |

You see... your limited understanding of the world around us is the problem here... not your ability to reason... So, go to the desert, come back and try again...

In the end game they have the guns and you don't. Most people are not wiling to make the sacrifices that real change or 'revolution' requires. Are you planning to take to the barricades and fight in the streets for your cause? Every real change, good or bad, has required this.
Time and experience has taught me to learn how to game the machine rather that let the machine fuck you over. Voted change is evolutionary -- it takes years. "two steps forward then one step backwards" is the way of the world. |

I'll use my favorite punching bag as an example... During the Republican debates, Trump vowed he would fix the Veteran's Administration's problems. What is Trump going to do to fix the problem? I'll tell you - He'll assign a new "Veteran's Director" with the goal of reducing wait times, increasing benefits and locations, while reducing fraud and lowering costs. You know - Trump will do what the guy before him did, and the guy before him did, and the guy before him did, and the guy before him did, and the guy before him did, and the guy before him did, and so on. I'm not knocking Sanders. But Sanders says he wants to "stop big government" but in the event he is elected he is.... big government. The moment Sanders sits down in the oval office he will be in fact big government. And there is no changing or stopping this. Our military still has to function at all levels, and thus our government will need to do business with all of the government contractors. Our economy still depends on the flow of oil, thus our government will still need to do business with the oil companies. American society needs it's automobiles, thus our government will still have to do business with the automobile industry. And so on. Nothing changes. Just pick the lesser of the evils and pray.

people aren't even running their daily routines anymore because someone is up their ass telling them whats gonna happen if they don't perform this task. nobody truly lives anymore. people don't work a job they want to because they only live to make a buck.

Welcome to the machine -- so whatcha going to do?
ABC (anybody but Clinton) is not a very good option ![]() No matter who is elected; we are in an economic downturn before 2019 (60% probability). I would worry about that ![]() Now, it will get *real* There is some real drama ahead -- that will make little difference in my medium term planning anyway -- some events are bigger than who rules the US White House. Game the machine ... |
