Streamate and MoneyTracker signup glitch?
This is a recent problem, but over the month of June I've noticed an increase in "unique visits" but zero, zero, signups on wm.mtree.com (which I still use -- dislike WLs). In May I had around 20 registrations.
Revenue from old signups is still showing up. Does anyone know what's going on? Edit: I do see a difference in the URL string (compared to another webmaster) -- nevertheless, has anyone else seen registrations evaporate? This is totally out of sync with previous months. Second edit: It might be redirecting from the splash page to the signup page without my code, I can't tell. The difference might be attributable to program types (rev versus signup fees). Basically, my links lead to a splash page with my code, which then leads to a signup page that appears to lack my code (AFNO=1-100001). Damn, without my code I go straight to the signup page without the splash page. This is the splash page (minus my code): Welcome -- when signup is selected at the bottom my code disappears. Streamate, why are users redirected to mtreexxx.com/streamate/ when an affiliate code is present? |

Okay, I've tested a few other sites and the affiliate codes are definitely disappearing on the actual signup page.
Please check this yourselves and comment on June's signups. I'm not sure if something other than the URL string is used at this stage, but there is an affiliate code and it's generic (AFNO=1-100001). |
