We had an unlimited data plan with Verizon. I have a kid, and having limited data sucks.

Data usage is intermittent when on unlimited plan. They simply throttle your usage.

Its called a Fair usage policy.. And its pretty normal, most hosting companies have them.
If you go above and beyond a fair usage policy you are really, really using up a lot of bandwidth on a continuous base. Much more than a normal person would use.. like people who have a couple of servers at home and are just downloading all day 24hours a day for weeks on end, , and uploading to their 50 friends at the same time.. Unlimited should be unlimited but if everyone would use internet like that than we would all have bandwidth issues |
