In this case, with the help of mass media that keep quiet about all these, it's perhaps smarter not to tease much and hide. Especially since Donald seems to be pathologically unable to shut up about banal things that only further distort any real message he may have for the actual (undecided) voters.

It's not a bad strategy. She stays hidden and lets Trump talk. The more he talks the worse it seems to get for him since the last debate. In the meantime, she is preparing for the debate this Sunday. Meanwhile, egomaniac Trump thinks he won the last debate and reports have him not preparing much at all. His campaign has cratered since the last debate. You know this latest issue with the leaked tape will come up in this debate as well.

Hillary stays under the radar and lets Trump bask in the negative publicity he has been getting then shows up for the debate when everyone is watching and does well. It's seeming to work for her.
