They aren't stupid. And RCP isn't the one doing the fixing. It's the pollsters fudging the numbers which makes RCP's averages skewed. Unlike 538 who actually got caught changing poll results within the DB to make his "projections" more palatable.

To win an election you need to EXPAND your base, he either doesn't understand or doesn't actually want to win. Look at the states he needs to win...its virtually impossible at this point.
