hey wait a minute???

FBI Surprises With Files on Bill Clinton â??01 Pardon of Marc Rich

The FBI unexpectedly released 129 pages of documents related to an investigation closed without charges in 2005 into President Bill Clinton?s pardon of Marc Rich, a wealthy Democratic donor?s husband.

The unusual timing of the release was the result of a Freedom of Information Act request which had been completed and was posted under standard FBI practice, according to a law enforcement official.

?Absent a FOIA litigation deadline, this is odd,? Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said on Twitter.

(what's odd to me is the Clintons getting millions in graft with no repercussions)

The investigation stemmed from one of several pardons Bill Clinton made on the last day of his presidency in 2001, that of financier and international fugitive Marc Rich, whose wife Denise had given to the Democratic National Committee and the entity that would later become the Clinton Foundation.

probably just a coincidence, right??? lol!!

I'm sorry, which felonies was she charged with?

Oh, that's right, she's never been charged. The Republican party has held investigation after investigation, ripped into tens of thousands of emails, and come up empty handed again and again. All you have is false accusations drummed up by the opposing political party.

Oh yes, Benghazi again. Yes. A terrorist attack no one saw coming, a terrorist attack no one could have prevented, and a terrorist attack nothing we could have done would have changed the outcome. How many investigations did we have into Benghazi? Nine? Ten? All of them said what? No wrong doing? How about that.

You mean like the Republicans have for the past eight years?

The past eight years have been amazing. We were at the lowest point we've been in during my lifetime, and the Republican party seems to want to do everything they can to prevent us from doing well. They are acting like children in the process. Instead of fixing our healthcare, they are doing everything they can to not fix it. It's their job to nominate a Supreme Court Justice, and instead they are intentionally blocking it for no reason - they've gone so far as to say they will continue blocking it through Clinton's administration in the likely event she wins the White House.

This is not politics. This is children crying when they don't get what they want.

one thing to consider is this, if trump says she is dirty, he would know because he was paying her off for years as a business man, he even admits it.

you mean like my health care got raised about $100 a month then got canceled the next month after obama said I could keep my ins. then my rate doubled, my deductions doubled, medications went form $20 to $600 per month and I've been denied healthcare at about 60% of the healthcare providers in my area. after obama said I could keep going to my doctor...? that's healthcare?

at least you had the sense not to bring Clinton up in the ethics thread

It find all of this absolutely hilarious.

We had a year long investigation into this and it was decided there was no wrong doing. There wasn't even a reason to press charges. The reality of this is it is not illegal for the Secretary of State to send classified information via email. The Secretary of State, in the normal course of routine business, sends classified information on a regular basis. There is no law that says the Secretary of State cannot send such information via private server. Or telephone. Or fax. Or smoke signals. It's just not illegal.

New emails isn't going to change a thing.

At the very same time, we haven't bothered to expand the investigation into anyone else. Multiple other Secretaries of State have used the same exact set up - It seems Hillary consulted former Secretary of State Colin Powell and used the same set up he used. Why aren't we investigating anyone else? If the handling of classified information via email is so important to national security, why aren't we investigating anyone else?

If the way our government officials handle classified information via email is so vital to national security, why hasn't our Congress changed the law to ensure it is not legal for classified information to be sent via email?

Ironically, the person leading the charge to investigate this - Jason Chaffetz - hands out business cards with his gmail account on it:

Jason Chaffetz is handing out business cards identifying him as a member of Congress with a Gmail address yet no one seems to be interested in investigating him to see if he is turning these official emails over to properly stored.

This is nothing more than a witch hunt. Jason Chaffetz has already made it perfectly clear he has years of investigations lined up for Hillary "just because" they can.

I want my government to do it's job not play high school games.
