No, you are turning this issue into a quasi-partisan issue which is absurd. This isn't about republicans or liberals, this is foreign policy. He should not be making statements like this so frivolously on twitter. Without context these things can be taken the wrong way and strain relations. There is no side of any party that thinks THIS is a good idea, even the ones who are in favour of what he is saying. The time to be behind EVERYTHING he is doing is past, questioning leaders decisions is part of what a civilized society does. Don't create partisan issues just because your team won the last vote. I think we are talking about different things here. I honestly know very little about Kosovo but from what I know your government either failed or was removed; I don't remember the details. The UN gave Kosovo a limited amount of support, but after that Kosovo was on it's own. No government is going to step in and continue to support a country for decades.

With Cuba, we have been strangling the country for decades. We've gone out of our way to ensure they do not do well. That hasn't helped anyone.
