Senate Republians vote to increase debt by $9 trillion

The current national debt is $20 trillion, we've heard this over and over how it's all Obama's fault from guys like Robbie & the usual consevabro crew.. Republicans just voted to raise the national debt to $29 trillion over the next 10 years..

They claim it's just numbers... 1 sole Republican voted against it (Rand Paul) the rest rubber stamped it no questions asked..

Conservatives who oppose U.S. debt vote to raise it as a step toward repeal of Affordable Care Act | The Sacramento Bee

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., was the lone Republican to oppose considering the repeal bill when the Senate voted 51-48 to proceed Wednesday. “Because we’re in a hurry, we can’t be bothered,” he said sarcastically. “It’s just numbers, I was told again and again ... and yet the legislation says it is a budget.”

He asked, “Why don’t we put a vision into the budget that represents what Republicans say they are for?”

In before it's all Obama's fault, Democrats are to blame.. [insert wingbot excuse here] Very odd they have to raise the national debt by $9 trillion to cut a govt program.. Seems like Ronald Reagan fuzzy math is at play..

The largest increases in the U.S. national debt have come under Republican presidents. Reagan cut taxes but not spending. George Bush fought a couple of wars but didn't pay for it. It was Clinton who last presented a budget to Congress that balanced the budget. Republicans are the big spenders.

As if you're a winner? Man you latch onto Trump like he's your ticket to personal legitimacy. A billionaire you'll never meet won an election in America, an election you didn't vote in, that does nothing for you personally. You're not on level ground by rehashing last year's election, let alone higher ground

This topic is about GOVERNING not who won last year's election. Americans like to see results and they hold presidents to their word & campaign promises.

BUT WAIT!

This doesn't include the changes to Obamacare.

This is how I see this playing out... They are going to "repeal Obamacare" with a law that says "We'll keep Obamacare for the next four years, and during that four years we will come up with a replacement" which really isn't repealing Obamacare at all. Over the next four years they will discover the number one hurdle here is cost, and it's either going to cost us in the pocket book up front or it will cost the government. This is greatly add a lot of cost to their budget.

The deficit will go up at lot more than $9 trillion.

I read the cost of repealing Obamacare is about $351 Billion. I don't know what the $9 Billion is for -- just in case?

You know how government works -- if the money is available they will spend it.

Something like this for sure

Remember big pharma owns Republicans, as do the health insurance companies. Republicans will try to "lower costs" by charging the consumer more through the back door, taking it from the treasury. Little by little they'll chip away at ways to make us pay backside while lowering the monthly bill so the average Trump voting idiot sees a lower monthly bill and thinks #Trumpnation

Does anyone read this crazy crap:

https://www.congress.gov/congression.../article/S65-2

SEC. 3002. RESERVE FUND FOR HEALTH CARE LEGISLATION.

(a) In General.--The Chairman of the Committee on the
Budget of the Senate and the Chairman of the Committee on the
Budget of the House of Representatives may revise the
allocations of a committee or committees, aggregates, and
other appropriate levels in this resolution, and, in the
Senate, make adjustments to the pay-as-you-go ledger, for--
(1) in the Senate, one or more bills, joint resolutions,
amendments, amendments between the Houses, conference
reports, or motions related to health care by the amounts
necessary to accommodate the budgetary effects of the
legislation, provided that the cost of such legislation, when
combined with the cost of any other measure with respect to
which the Chairman has exercised the authority under this
paragraph, does not exceed the difference obtained by
subtracting--
(A) $2,000,000,000; from
(B) the sum of deficit reduction over the period of the
total of fiscal years 2017 through 2026 achieved under any
measure or measures with respect to which the Chairman has
exercised the authority under section 3001(1); and
(2) in the House of Representatives, one or more bills,
joint resolutions, amendments, or conference reports related
to health care by the amounts necessary to accommodate the
budgetary effects of the legislation, provided that the cost
of such legislation, when combined with the cost of any other
measure with respect to which the Chairman has exercised the
authority under this paragraph, does not exceed the
difference obtained by subtracting--
(A) $2,000,000,000; from
(B) the sum of deficit reduction over the period of the
total of fiscal years 2017 through 2026 achieved under any
measure or measures with respect to which the Chairman has
exercised the authority under section 3001(2).
(b) Exceptions From Certain Provisions.--Section 404(a) of
S. Con. Res. 13 (111th Congress), the concurrent resolution
on the budget for fiscal year 2010, and section 3101 of S.
Con. Res. 11 (114th Congress), the concurrent resolution on
the budget for fiscal year 2016, shall not apply to

No dildo, it's how they pass these things. If it meant nothing why would they do it.. You just want to make excuses and distract because you can't blame liberals and your guys are already setting the stage to raise the budget more than Obama did their very first week in office.

They vote to approve the amount and then they find ways to spend it..

The difference is I don't point out you're straight.

Guys that bring up another's sexuality means the others sexuality is of interest to them, otherwise it's a non issue.

I'm a normal Gay guy, not a freak weirdo, I'm assuming you're a normal straight dude, not a freak weirdo.

I'm cool with you being down with me, just letting you know that I see you are bro

They don't care about any details regarding this issue...whether it's the people it may effect, or the money it may cost. Republicans are salivating over the prospect of finally killing Obama's evil socialist program.

Do not think for one second that they give two fucking shits about anyone enrolled in Obamacare.

I'm not a "social justice warrior"

I'm a conservative blue dog democrat now, that's voted Republican, and refused to vote Trump.

The fact you identify me as something I'm not, some far left libbie nut, because you couldn't vote Trump, but like him, shows what a loser you are comrad Get a new gig, everyone knows that foreigners who want America to fail support Trump
That's right, MELTDOWN. The kind of meltdown that makes you accuse people that laugh at you of being a "foreigner."

Isn't it about time for you to make another one of your shrill "OMG Trump didn't really win because Hillary won the popular vote!" posts?

You cannot defend the indefensible. So, ad hominem attacks become the order of the day. Do you really think anyone cares?

Yes it's really funny to see them attack Obama relentlessly about the same things they wont bat an eye at if their team does it. This country really has no where to go but down if one side of the populace doesn't give a shit about the country but only their blind faith in team politics.

It's really sad they are so blinded by hate and stupidity. The alt right has brainwashed them like little commie bastards to hate their enemies so nothing can ever be a compromise or a work together moment. For Democrats in Congress dealing with Republicans must be like trying to make a deal with North Korea. Completely insane.

Funny how the bulk of the GFY consabros ignore this topic like the plague. The ones that do show up try to ignore it and just call names. Typical brainwashed hypocrites it's only bad if the other team does it..

So was Obama not a democrat? Did he not increase the debt more than all other presidents combined in history?

You have issues.

Pay attention.

another fake news agent .... so stupid when a 10 seconds search will give you the answer :

as you can see , the PUBLIC owns the majority of the debt , not China or Japan. But of the 2 countries, CHINA still owns more: it is the COUNTRY that owns the more ...

Which fakenick are you ?
