In November 2013 Trump was in Moscow for Miss Universe. 4 months later (March 2014) Trump is on TV talking about Putin being the enemy. Later in 2014 Trump says he talked directly & indirectly with Putin. Early 2015 Trump loves Putin.

Russia is a geopolitical foe, and Obama needs to be stronger in dealing with it.

What is he trying to do now? Make Russia more of a geopolitical ally than a foe and cut deals with them that benefit both countries.

Sounds pretty good that he is trying to turn around the tense situation between the countries created by the washington establishment.
