admit it. Donald Trump is a genius

if you look at what he's doing objectively, having never even run for office before, to be able to insult massive swaths of the people, enrage both his opposition & the PC libtard media into a frenzy, & yet dominates the polls.

he has studied the people, knows what they want, & he gives it to them. no fear. Thats it.

genius.

Not a genius. He's a huge embarrassment and has made a complete joke of the republican party. He's so ridiculous that now even republicans want him out.

do you know he is a stealth moderate? & that he is only saying these things to win a republican primary? i wish you had enough midi-chlorians to see what i see. genius.

i offer you this tidbit: he donated to, gets along with, & has belonged to, both parties.

There will be a day when you wake up and see that 'real' politicians are what is wrong with so called 'democracies'. I find it astonishing that so many people call Trump names, while it is a fact, proven throughout history time and time again, that actual politicians are the ones who lie, deceive, never keep a promise, are puppets of big corporations and fuck things up for the people. How can you not see this?

In case you do see this, wouldn't you agree that anyone who is NOT a politician will be a breathe of fresh air?

Edited to make it correct.

The man's a liar and conman. He knows the big money people will never allow him to get through any of the policies he promising. Do you really think people like the Koch Brothers are going to let him ban Muslims, Mexicans, and decrease exports?

Look at how much American Corporations spend to get these guys elected. They buy ads, pay for marketing, and a lot more to make sure people vote for the politicians the corporations approve of. So don't blame the politicians. Look in a mirror to see the culprits.

If you think Trump is going to a new brush. Explain how he gets anything done with all the Senators and Congressmen scared about getting enough money to stand for election next time.

Funding is like a gun, big business can choose to shoot, or choose not to. Either way, the politicians jump when told.

The UK recently had a huge opportunity to put the fear of god into the politicians by voting UKIP. Not enough did.

So if you want change, vote for it. Not going for anyone with 7 figure budgets in their election pots, even if it's their own money, they won't throw it away to make others richer.

It's the closest thing to something different than the same person who has been president for the last couple of decades.

Yes, the same person - different names and appearances, but exactly the same person.

It's truly bizzaro that liberals pick the entire Republican party over Donald Trump.

Heads up, Trump is not the scary Republican, Ted Cruz is. Trump is a Trojan horse already parked inside. He's already wreaking havoc on the party and could very very easily hand the election to the democrats just by running his mouth and most certainly if he jumped ship and ran independent.

Again bizarro.

That doesn't mean Trump is an improvement. Trump is just a lateral movement from one pile of shit to another. That said, a Trump nomination is a guaranteed win for the left.

Thanks for reading my one post that I make every three years.

See this is your problem.. You only see things in black and white..

You think that somehow because we don't like Trump that we automatically must approve of other Republicans.. It's just like when I call out the dumb Obama whines the right weenies make, it means I automatically approve everything he does in your minds..

Do you not understand we are calling Trump out for being crazy, but the other GOP candidates are also shit for other reasons?

Trump is winning (he is the front runner) because he is the only one that is talking about the problems and saying he will do something realistic about them. Two examples:

1) Problem: The declining middle class, income inequality, slow growth. All driven by lower wages for the middle class. The cause? Good manufacturing jobs moving to China and good construction jobs being taken by illegals making very little money with no benefits. Trump says he will renegotiate the trade relationship with China and deport illegals. These steps will work if he can pull them off. What do the other GOP candidates say? Bush, Kasich, Rubio, Christie will lower taxes on the rich hoping they will invest the money and create jobs. The problem is without changing the relationship with China the investments and jobs will be there. They also say they it is immoral and impossible to deport illegals. Investments in construction will continue to create jobs for illegals or low paying jobs to compete with them. So Trump has a plan that at least makes sense. The others are proposing things that will not work.

2) Problem: Radical Muslims are coming through our immigration system planning on committing terrorism. Our own FBI and DHS say they cannot say for sure that they can identify and stop them. Trump says halt all Muslims until we fix the system. Bush, Kasich, etc all say this is immoral, but have no solution.

Trump identifies the problem and goes right at it. The others always have a reason they cannot go right at it, and instead propose a solution that is irrelevant. Its like having a broken leg. Trump says he will reset it. The rest want to put you on chemotherapy...

You dumbass, libtards having been holding up Lindsey Graham and dick Cheney because they denounced trump. Not to mention plenty of others from politicians to fox talking heads.

And that's your problem and why you'll never win troll of the year, regardless how stupid you are.

I think he is good at marketing. But we have newspapers running images of him with clown faces, other governments voting on if he should be banned from entering their country, and then other governments saying they'll never do business with him.

Assuming Trump was to win, how would this play out? Would he ever be able to talk to Putin? The leader of China? What happens when Trump has his first state dinner - will the press call him out on the comments he's made how China was treated when visiting the White House?

Once again, you see only back and white.. You can't comprehend that they are supporting Graham and Cheney because they are some of the few willing to call Trump for what he is on the GOP side of the aisle.. This in your mind equals that they also must support Cheney and Graham on the other stupid shit they say or do..

This is the problem with you polarized right weenies.. You can't understand the concept of agreeing with something someone says while also disagreeing with their broader stance.

Much the same as I can agree largely with someone's stance but also disagree with things they say..

The right wing is so fucking polarized all you guys can think is rah rah team..no matter what..and boo boo the other guys.. No matter what.. This is why the Republican voter base is now only 22% of registered voters, because people are tired of the right wing bullshit.

Point us to the speeches where he said he wouldn't do this. Easier then me pointing to the ones where he did say it.

Agreed. The problem isn't the men in the chairs. It's the men standing behind them. A lot of money is needed to get elected to anything of importance in the US. That money can't come from the people, it comes from big business. Once elected the winner has to do as he's told to get the funds required to be re-elected.

Gun control, Healthcare, spending on projects, etc. How many of the lobbies are in the interest of the people and how many are for the corporations funding them?

Even simple things like the quality of the food, like the amount of sugar and salt contained, how much of what Washington does is for you and how much for MacDonalds and Cola?

So you think elected politicians are all for you and not the corporations that fund them?

So easy to brainwash the stupid.

Unless you have a real answer, stay out of debates that are over your head.

And this is the problem. So many Americans don't care about their politicians being bought and paid for. You can shout this one down, there are lots of other examples.

Google your Senator, Congressman, Mayor, Governer and the cost of getting him elected. That's his master, not you. He will stand on a podium and claim he represents you, a podium bought and paid for, just like him.

I think that UKIP did put the fear into politicians. UKIP may not have gained a lot of seats, but they did take away a lot of the votes from some of the other parties. They also made the main parties reconsider some of their policies on immigration and the EU, which all of a sudden apparently had been in the pipeline all along, they just weren't mentioned. As if!

What amazes me though is how a party which is the third in number of votes only manages to get 1 seat whereas the SNP with only 40% of those votes manages to get 56 seats.

But getting back to Trump, a lot of politicians and media are up in arms about the stuff he says calling him a liar, a bigot, racist, ... but what they don't seem to realise is that he says the stuff that a lot of people in middle america are thinking but are afraid to say out loud for fear of reprisals.

When Trump said that certain areas in London are no-go areas for police everybody was quick to call him a liar and say it wasn't true.

Those people who denounce him seem to have miraculously "forgotten" how police were advised in November last year by the police federation not to travel to work in uniform in certain areas because of risk of attacks.

Or how the chief of constabulary raised the issue that certain areas in the midlands are no go areas for police because the communities police themselves and don't want police around.

Or the incidents in London with the "Muslim patrol" where 3 guys were jailed because they carried out assaults on people because they were enforcing sharia law in the area.

And lets not forget the horrendous abuse in Rochdale of more than 1,400 children where the police were too worried to investigate in case they would upset the local muslim community.

I would love to see one of the Youtube "stars" to make a video of them walking around areas of east london, manchester, birmingham or bradford in a police uniform and post the reactions they get.

I dont get why people are so up in arms about him?

the 2 things i have seen postered in the media are:
1. He wants to control the mexican illegal problem. And re examine the application process.

2. Wants to ban muslim immigration until the system can be better fixed for screening.

Nothing wrong with these points at their core.

My view on these points:

1. Most LEGAL mexicans who are not anchor babies agree with him. They know the amount of red tape and years of waiting it takes to immigrate legally.

Seperating from family members emotional/financial hardships the legal process takes. They dont want illegals to be pushed into priority and be given amnesty further clogging up the immigration system. where they already have family members legally waiting for approval.

2. American muslims are tired of being grouped with middle eastern muslims. They want to work on patching up their image in the USA and not have that infiltrated by foreigners who truly cant be checked properly. Especially with a mass influx.

Many people right now are afraid to speak how they truly feel. Because they dont want to get grouped in the bigot/PC field. But come ballot box time, sitting in thd booth by themselves i see many people voting for trump.

Dont count him out because no one truly understands the majority of americans deep seeded thoughts. But again when in that private voters box there is no one to judge. And i can see the vote swinging for trump.

Best post I've seen regarding Trump. I don't like him one bit but your points are right on the money.

Exemplifying peoples prejudgements they are afraid to say.
He never talked this way when he ran as a dem. Go back and look.

The left recently got wiped out in France as the left tactically voted for the right. This will have to happen in the UK if UKIP keep gaining ground.

I don't here Trump talking about the type of Mexicans or Muslims, he labels them all as a race.

And yes the UK is far too scared of being labelled racists. That is changing, just not fast enough.

What I'm trying to impress on some here is that whatever he or anyone else promises in this race. Has two hurdles to get over. Thier financial backers and all the other politicians.

He clearly spoke about ILLEGAL immigrants when he referenced Mexicans in a negative way.

As for Muslims, he is referring to Muslims entering the U.S. via Visa's to travel. He wants to temporarily stop that while the govt. looks at better ways of vetting them to make sure they aren't terrorists.
Unfortunately for Muslims...it IS Muslim terrorists who have declared "jihad" worldwide.

Can he pass the laws required without asking anyone else?

I agree with you about immigration, the EU has gone insane by allowing free passage and benefits for EU citizens and allowing all the migrants from the Third World in, to wander around Europe.

The problem for him in the US is like here, getting it through Government.
