This is rather comical to watch really. The Trump administration is a group of people with zero political experience trying to accomplish a list of ridiculous goals.

There is no need for this travel ban. There have been no terrorist attacks on the United States. We have a vetting process, it is in place, and obviously it's been working. If the Trump administration doesn't believe it's working well enough, they need to beef up the vetting process.

But the reality here is they know there is no need for this but they feel they need to do something. They cannot really beef up the vetting process; It's clearly working and there is not much they can improve on. However, they need to make it look like they are doing something.

The judge that struck down ban #2 graduated with Obama from Harvard in 1991, was appointed by Obama..... and Obama was in Hawaii the day before the ruling. Surprise trip. Without Michelle. Minimal security.

I'll bet he met with that judge. Thus the oddball ruling from the judge that he ruled the way he did because of Trump's campaign rhetoric and not necessarily because there was anything illegal about the ban itself.

Actually, there is very little that Trump has done that would be considered historically unusual. People are just so used to 8 years of Obama that his ways became the new normal. But if you go back and look at W, Clinton, HW, Reagan, etc.... it is Obama that was the radical president. Trump is just normalizing everything again.
