The well-dressed man accused of fatally stabbing a 66-year-old in Hell?s Kitchen is a white supremacist who traveled from Baltimore specifically to kill black people ? and surrendered because he was about to attack an interracial couple, police sources said Wednesday.


James Harris Jackson, 28, is a veteran of the Army and has written a manifesto declaring his racist views, according to sources.

The dapper suspect turned himself in to police at an NYPD substation in Times Square shortly after midnight Wednesday and told them he did so to avoid killing again.

Just before surrendering, Jackson told cops, he saw a black and white couple that set him off.

?You need to arrest me. I have the knife in my pocket,? Jackson said, according to sources.



Jackson allegedly plunged a knife into Timothy Caughman?s chest and back several times near the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 36th Street around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Caughman was black.

If we call Muslims who kill westerners terrorist after every killing no matter what it was, then this is also a terrorist attack. Any time a Muslim kills anyone it's always called a terrorist attack..

I would say this is a hate crime. Terrorism is the use of intentionally indiscriminate violence as a means to create terror or fear, in order to achieve a political, religious, or ideological aim.

Same way that the Dallas shooter was a hate crime. Tho I really don't know what the exact line in the sand would be to call something one way or the other.
