Maybe you've seen those documentaries about people brought up by wolves from their childhood. You can teach them to understand human language and even to speak, but they still feel themselves like wolves.

I don't disagree with this... but if there were drastic changes to the living environment that were natural (or appeared to be natural), you would then have a natural desire to accept an alternative.

So for instance, if there was a super STD that killed all men that kissed other men and there was a constant threat of contracting this STD, I do believe that the percentage of the population identifying as gay or bi would go way down.

HIV was something like that for may years. I can't say that straight men are not affected to it, but everybody knows that gays are the most vulnerable ones. The GFY member Eddie has said that he can't even be a blood donor in the Great Britain, only because he is a gay. I don't think that's because gays are discriminated in the UK for their perversions. I believe that's because gays have incomparable more chances to catch HIV than straight men.
