How do you convert with VR paysites?
Hey guys
Nowaday, there is a big craze about VR. But I wonder how do you really convert with it? Do you get better ratio than with traditional paysites? I remember the time when affiliates were bragging about their ratio and the shitload of cash they used to make... I'd like to see that with your VR stats ;) |

Might be a good question but the lack of response make me think nobody make money with VR lol.
I don't have a particular VR program in mind. Actually I don't even know which is the biggest right now? But you probably guessed that if I ask, that's because we are working on something by our side and I try to figure out the real potential of VR. |

well - i know first hand that affiliates make money with VR - but just slapping a couple links and banners on a page won't do it
VR users are very picky and they are also a different type of porn users than your regular middle aged guy that surfs porn in his lunch break the problem with VR porn mostly is that too many people still think it's like 3D and haven't bothered to try it out - cause once they try, they are easily converted. but how do people try when they have no headset yet - that's the main problem - even when you offer to send a free cardboard - porn is an impulse buy. basic line: people need more headsets and for that VR needs a killer mainstream app

We do good with VR. I won't say actual ratios, because they are meaningless. Ratios are totally dependent on your traffic and promotion methods.
Overall VR sponsors do convert good, they're between the sponsors that give us the best ratios with our traffic. Part of that traffic are people who are already interested in VR, but not all of it. I do see some random "non-VR" visitors buying VR memberships too sometimes. It's clear though that to make real money with VR, you'll need to be able to get VR-specific traffic. It seems to me that people interested in VR porn are quite more likely to pay money for memberships than regular porn surfers. A lot of these people are probably well-off, who were willing to spend money on a new "luxury" technology I do see a bit of a slowdown after last year, but I think that's because a lot of affiliates jumped on the VR bandwagon now. The VR traffic & sales are distributed among more players. I believe that affiliates with mass VR-focused traffic are still doing very good. For our best VR sponsors, see sig ![]() |

In a market flooded with free content -- buyers are few and far between.
It remains to be seen if VR will amount to any advantage to stimulate new paying customers, just become a buying shift or become the next 3D. |

Somebody above will disagree but I believe that VR is just a fad as 3D was a few years ago....nobody believes any more that content is king, but no gimmicks. Shit is shit in any format and recycled shit is even worse.. ![]() |

Don't be so defensive LOL
I heard the same hype for 3D Your talking to the guy that tried to sell Video Realty Franchises in 1975 -- that was a good idea that was a flop too. |
