The man who saved the world has died 4 months ago and nobody even knew about it
Stanislav Petrov has died on May 2017, and we learned about it only by chance from his German buddy. So sad the heroes die like that... in obscurity - no single world in Russian media

Since when not taking wrong decision is something extraordinary? Ps: not meant as disrespect to the guy who did a perfect assessment of the situation. |

You didn't get it. He has taken a wrong decision. He broke the instruction. Read "The Dead Hand: The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and Its Dangerous Legacy" by David Hoffman and you won't post stupid comments anymore.
