Washington (CNN)The Trump administration has revealed its master plan for securing the border -- and it's going to cost $33 billion.

Of that total, $18 billion will be required for President Donald Trump's long-promised border wall, according to Customs and Border Protection documents obtained by CNN that were sent to lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

The remaining $15 billion would cover technology, personnel and readiness, the document says.

Titled "Critical CBP Requirements to Improve Border Security," the document says CBP has identified what a 2,026-mile border wall system would entail --comprising about 864 miles of new wall and about 1,163 miles of replacement or secondary wall -- even as administration officials and their allies insist they are not pursuing a wall "from sea to shining sea," as Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and her predecessor John Kelly have testified to Congress.

Crossing the border is not a "crime of opportunity". This is not drive up the border in your car, hike for fifteen minutes, and rent a house in San Diego. The people who are crossing the boarder illegally travel thousands of miles, pay thousands of dollars, and deal with people who invest a lot of time, effort, and money into crossing the border illegally. They will spend a million dollars to create a three mile tunnel under the board. They have submarines to smuggle drugs and people into the country.

Building a wall isn't going to fix anything. We are talking about tens of billions of dollars to build a wall that is only three hundred miles long and they will still go over it, under it, around it, or through it.

US Government spending is $4.094 trillion. With 323 million in the country, everyone from the moment their born has to contribute $12,674. This is why many counties are deep in debt. The US is currently $18.96 trillion or about 104% of the previous 12 months of GDP.

Migrants work for less, tax revenues suffer, they have more children, education and Healthcare rise. And they all have to be housed. Prison is the least of your worries, courts and police also cost. And when they get old, what will they do to contribute? Hillary wanted to make them all legal.

The only upside for the few is they keep wages down and profits for the big corporations high.

Purely looking at it from a financial point the Wall will help keep the costs down. Of course, you could all pay more taxes to meet the costs.
