So only one hundred and sixty-four companies are able to give out bonuses under this new plan?

In the mean time, how many jobs at Carrier just went to Mexico?

Wow, a whole 2% of American workers received any type of bonus.

Meanwhile since the cuts,

ATT laid off 4000 people

Macys laid off 10000 people

GE laid off 12000 people

Toys R Us announced the closing of 180 stores

Walmart laid off 10000 workers

Carrier, the coal industry, and tourism jobs are all laying people off.

the USA-s income from taxation only meets 50% of its expenditure...it perpetually creates new debt that is on a hyperbolic scale...the more it creates the steeper the slope...

I do not think the USA has the option any more to have a real monetary policy and it is now looking to just delay the crash in any way it can...

if the shit is going to hit the fan anyway, trump may as well reward his cronies with one last tax party...before the USA starts defaulting on their debts

tax cut LOL what a fucking joke...

oh and lets not mention that the USA is 46 TRILLION$ underfunded on its obligations on pensions LOL

so yeah...tax cuts LOL

What's wrong with you?

You literally think Obama has nothing to do with anything good in our current reality and you think Trump has done nothing bad in our current reality.

When you idolize a man, like you do Trump, aside from losing your dignity, you've lost the respect of anyone looking for an honest opinion.

Protest over factory pollution in E China enters third day|Society|chinadaily.com.cn

On Thursday, 15 September 2011, more than 500 people from Hongxiao Village protested over the large-scale death of fish in a nearby river. Angry protesters stormed the factory compound, overturned eight company vehicles, and destroyed the offices before police came to disperse the crowd. Protests continued on the two following nights with reports of scuffle, officials said.

So the part where I show tax payers are paying for it, as decided last year, and then go in to the company's and past issues and a look at what the solar future actually holds, and then explain why its not of any benefit to America just a few individuals... you skip over and pick the first sarcastic sentence?

Do you realise that if I hated America I would be saying.. Yeah it's a great move!

I don't know how they do things in Australia but cities and towns across the USA do this with just about every large company that wants to set up shop in their town. They forgo certain taxes because they know when they have 5000 new jobs coming in the real estate jumps which raises property taxes, other surrounding business make money etc. it's a win win for them...of course to you.. we're losing

Better build the factory quickly then and hope they don't just ship in their Malaysian one which was built to get around previous tariffs and is now outdated, then hope they don't send the money earned back to the founding company.. in China and then hope they are actually going to manufacture and just not assemble.

It's a lotta hope for an industry that has what, 5 years based on current technology before it needs.. a bail out to rebuild with newer Tech?

https://www.seia.org/us-solar-market-insight

The U.S. installed 2,031 megawatts (MW) of solar PV in Q3 2017 to reach 49.3 gigawatts (GW) of total installed capacity, enough to power 9.5 million American homes. This represents a 51% decline over a record-breaking 2016. The industry is poised to install nearly 12 GW of solar capacity before the end of the year.

..so Trump raised prices 30% to fix that huh..

The way corporation taxes are set up makes it inevitable these days. Better that Corporation taxes are low and businesses in the country and employing people than elsewhere and no one having jobs.

If you add all the taxes a business pays via, employee taxes, health, business rates, etc. They pay a huge amount. All by being in the country.

How high corporate taxes are doesn't matter when the corporations here don't pay them regardless, or pay just a tiny fraction.

I'm fiscally conservative so you know we agree on this.

The nonsense spouted over this is really quite breathtaking.

So Trump announces corp tax cuts and some companies respond by giving their employees a raise / bonus, correct ?

The Trumpsters declare Muhrica to be great again and they bask in the glory of the warm glow of burning Roubles emanating from Trump tower. Correct ?

Now please feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but employee costs are completely 100% tax deductible.

Therefore any raise or bonus paid to an employee reduces a companies corp tax payable.

Therefore these companies could have done this anyway and the net result would have been exactly the same.

i.e. If you pay your employees more - you pay less to the tax man whatever the corp tax rate is.

Smoke and mirrors.

well - that´s not really comparable but sure it makes some difference.

a company what made before 100 M paid 35 M tax and had 65 M in the pocket

when they make 100 M win now but pay 20 M to the employees out and pay on the 80 M only 21% tax they are still left with around the same.

but the point is that the tax for companies will be the same in 10 years but not the tax for the employees.

so in 10 years the companies will still be fine and if they pay the same 20 M to their employees they will not have fun on that because THE WILL PAY THE TAX.

trumps state of the nation speech was again full of lies because he is a liar.

let´s take some of his statements and look behind them:

Quote:
Since the election, we've created 2.4 million new jobs, including 200,000 jobs in the industry alone. Enormous, after years of stagnating incomes, we finally see rising wages.
LIE:

The basic message is correct: Since the election, 169,000 new jobs have been created each month in the US and wages are rising.
It is noteworthy, however, that Trump refers to the election day to increase the number of new jobs still - he was finally introduced two months later. He also claims an economic development that has been going on for years.
In the seven years leading up to the 2016 election, 185,000 jobs were created each month. And salaries are rising, but less so than at the end of Barack Obama's term. The fact that the United States after years of stagnation so "finally" again record wage increases is wrong. In fact, wages have been rising since 2014. (In the fourth quarter of 2017, they actually fell again.)

Quote:
"The stock market has broken one record after another."
HYPOCRATE:

That's right, Trump points out, as the Washington Post has calculated, every third day. It should be noted here is that he always said in the election campaign, the stock market is "inflated", "a very, very large bubble" or a "fat, fat, ugly bubble". Trump's election to the presidency has not halted the rise in the Dow Jones index, he has since accelerated. And suddenly he is no longer a bubble, but a great record.

Quote:
"We have decided the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history."
LIE:

The tax cuts decided by Congress in December are indeed huge: $ 1.5 trillion in volume. Yet, it's not "the biggest tax cut in US history," but "only" the biggest in three decades. Calculated in terms of the share of the US economy, Trump's tax reform is in 8th place.

Quote:
"Our massive tax cuts give the middle class and no company enormous relief."
LIE:

n fact, the tax cuts for small and medium incomes are temporary, while for corporations they are indefinite. In about ten years, about half of the taxpayers will pay, as the think tank "Tax Policy Center" has calculated - and especially citizens from the low and middle income bracket.

Quote:
"Many carmakers are building and expanding factories in the US - we have not seen that for decades."
LIE:

The first part of the sentence is correct, automakers have announced corresponding plans. However, there is currently no evidence that this is a new trend. Employment in the US auto industry has been rising since 2009 and has been at its current level since April 2016.

Quote:
"End of green cards because Green Cards randomly distributed without qualifying, performance or taking into account the safety of our people ".
FALSE:

Wikipedia helps: "Winners of the Green Card lottery win not directly a green card, but the right to apply for one," it says. Only those who can demonstrate a school education or training can take part. In addition, successful candidates undergo a health and safety assessment. Anyone who has a criminal record will not be admitted.

Quote:
"In the current broken system, a single immigrant can bring a virtually unlimited number of distant relatives."
FALSE:

immigrants WHAT ARE LEGALLY IMIGRATED AND HAVING A US-PASSPORT
can apply for a green card for spouses, children, parents or siblings. For immigrants with a green card, stricter rules apply, they can only apply for the marriage of spouses and unmarried children. However, there is no automatic right to family reunification. Almost four million people are on the current waiting list, and the waiting period is often many years.

Quote:
"In recent weeks, two terrorist attacks in New York have been made possible by the Visa lottery and chain immigration."
FALSE:

The first of these two attacks killed eight people in October in a truck. Accused is a 29-year-old Uzbek. The other attack, a bomb explosion, injured only the alleged perpetrator, a man from Bangladesh, who was allowed to enter the US in 2011 as part of the chain immigration. Both men became radicalized in the US. The transmitter ABC evaluates Trump's statement therefore as "predominantly spin", thus a politically cut truth.

Quote:
"The United States is a compassionate nation and we are proud to do more than any other country anywhere in the world to help the needy, the destitute and the underprivileged around the world."
NOT TRUE:

In absolute terms, that's true. However, putting development aid spending into relation to economic strength, the US is performing poorly. In 2016, according to figures from the OECD, they spent $ 33.6 billion on public development cooperation. Germany ranks second with 25.7 billion (with aid for refugees in Germany included in this sum). In terms of gross national product, the US is only 22nd (Germany is fifth, behind Norway, Luxembourg, Sweden and Denmark).

you can go on an on with his fake facts it will never end.

I understand that. I paid corporation tax for 30 years. It's a bad way to collect tax in the modern world. It's far better to have business invest in the country they want to sell into. Then pay all the taxes that go with that.

they voted out because they believed in fake information of populists.
the same populists now are crying for a second vote to stay in the EU because they
have a small idea now in what kind of disaster they have driven the country.

it is fucking easy to tell people, who have just the knowledge of what is in their own wallet, lies about topics what they will never understand.

from 2019 on the world will suffer from the consequences of this ideocracy.
unfortunately not only those countries that caused it by giving the power to the monkeys.

Paul I run companies and pay taxes in multiple countries.

I will pay more in EU VAT in this quarter then you earned in your whole lifetime.

In fact I probably pay more money to accountants and advisers in a year than you earned in your lifetime.

Employee salaries are 100% deductible as a legitimate business expenditure in just about every country in the world worth doing business in. That is an undeniable fact.

So crawl back under your rock Markham. You are a failed pornographer who had to move to a low cost country in order to get girls to drop their pants, and now you cannot even afford to go home. You are just a shitty sex tourist who stayed. Prick.
