It was a Title 1 warrant. Meaning Page was pretty much labeled a spy. They weren't just reading his emails and listening to his phone calls. ANYONE he had any contact with was swept up in the investigation. 24/7 surveillance.

Why didn't Trump do anything earlier? He was advised against likely. Early on he said "we will go after them, but we will through the proper channels." He's had to wait for the "Russia investigations" to be done before they dove into this... It's all been planned. They want what's coming fresh on the voters minds in November... Plus it gave them time to gather evidence without question...

Then it was released and the world did not end. FBI agents have thus far not been fired. Seeing ?classified? material did not terrify us, but rather it demonstrated clearly that information is kept from us by claiming it is ?classified.?

In the end, both sides got it wrong. Here?s what the memo really shows us:

First, the memo demonstrates that there is a ?deep state? that does not want things like elections to threaten its existence. Candidate Trump?s repeated promises to get along with Russia and to re-assess NATO so many years after the end of the Cold War were threatening to a Washington that depends on creating enemies to sustain the fear needed to justify a trillion dollar yearly military budget.

Imagine if candidate Trump had kept his campaign promises when he became President. It was likely also well known by Democrats in the House. But both parties suppressed this evidence of FBI abuse of the FISA process until after the FISA Amendments Act could be re-authorized. Finally, hawks on both sides of the aisle in Congress used ?Russia-gate? as an excuse to build animosity toward Russia among average Americans. They knew from the classified information that there was no basis for their claims that the Trump Administration was put into office with Moscow?s assistance, but they played along because it served their real goal of keeping the US on war footing and keeping the gravy train rolling.

But don?t worry: the neocons in both parties will soon find another excuse to keep us terrified and ready to flush away a trillion dollars a year on military spending and continue our arguments and new ?Cold War? with Russia.

They must have felt I was qualified since they let me do it. They even did a background check on me. It was mandatory even though I don't like them.
If I would have had as much as a domestic abuse charge on my record, I would not have been allowed to 'volunteer'.

Wiretaps, surveillance photos and video...etc.

The FBI has long been a weapon of choice for politicians.

It is a well publicized fact that Obama rid himself of Flynn when the knowledge hit his desk.
AND
He had warned the incoming Trump admin about him.

You are not going to create doubt in my mind just on history. Bring something solid to the front, lets investigate them all. But your not going to start by dismissing a investigation on flimsy allegations that are highly politically motivated. If for no other reason, it looks very obstructionist. If there is nothing to find, nothing will be found. They are not going to fabricate evidence. If there is any wrong doings, it will come out in the end for you must to have a 'chain of evidence'. How you got to this info... what lead you to it.
It works no different for POTUS and his cabinet than it does for anyone on the street.

Wanna investigate the FBI... great, let's do it. Just give them a reason to take it serious.
I wonder why the Senate does not See it the same way as the House. They both have independent oversight and separate investigations. The whole story might have the beginnings of merit if they both were saying the same thing. But I would welcome a separate investigation of all FISA warrants.

If there are crimes, they should be punished and I don't really care who did them.

No one and no organization is above reproach.

With that said, there is zero indication of any wrong doing or any bias on the part of the FBI. Comey and the top three people at the FBI are Republicans. All four of the judges who approved the FISA warrants are Republicans appointed by Republicans. This is a FISA warrant. This isn't a joke. This is not keystone cops going to a crooked judge to get a warrant on undependable information. It has to go through multiple levels of the FBI before it goes to a judge. If that isn't enough, every time they went to renew the warrant they had to show what they found - which means they found enough evidence to continue with the warrant. Not once mind you - three times.

It's stunning how we had a dozen investigations into Hillary Clinton, yet one investigation into Trump and suddenly we are questioning the FBI.

If there is no wrong doing and nothing to hide, let the investigation continue. Instead, they are working on obstruction at all levels.
