A phrase championed by the NRA. What this is basically saying is that if the law changed and you were forced to give up your guns, these people, who would be lawfully obligated to surrender their weapons, would commit murder and be shot themselves.

how do you feel about gun regulations based on zip codes? areas with the highest gun issues get the tightest regulations, like you can't put a bar near a school. taking a gun into a bar in Texas is automatically 'x' number of years.

that kind of regulations. like you get caught with a gun in 'x' zip code off you go... or say within 100 yards of a school. that can get passed pretty quick and will be effective with a few searches

I don't see why people are against that as an immediate fix. They have been doing this for years in Black schools and Jewish schools have had armed guards forever as well. I haven't seen any shootings in those schools. How can you argue against it, don't twist it saying protocols. Legit armed guards will deter someone from trying this shit

Think about how many schools there are. Does that stop the shootings at night clubs, concerts, or malls? Concert and malls, already have armed guards.

In Florida, bouncers aren't allowed to carry firearms. However, in my local area, that didn't stop one bouncer from shooting and killing his fellow bouncer co-worker over a girl.

Here in we have another problem. More armed guards and more situations where armed guards are going to have mental health problems.

It's arguments like these that make me actually understand why banning all guns does not make sense within your nation. but I think some control on weapons that can be fired faster mechanically should have tougher restrictions at the same time. It would go a long way into limiting the damage from random crazies from taking out as many as they can. not stop murder, which is impossible.
